Honestly, I've been wanting to try this brand for at least a year and have been taking my time reacclimating my hair to olaplex, kerastase, and pattern by Tracy Ellis. I'm trying to delineate which products by which brands are the most effective and give me the most desired results in my hair. So I had this brand on the back burner and saw my chance with it on sale at ipsy. I'm always looking for a pre-wash, especially a scalp rejuvenater, as my hair has thinned a lot on top and in the winter my scalp gets dry so oily pre-washes tend to help. I use this product twice so far as a pre-wash in which I left it on my scalp for longer than the directed amount on instructions. I left it on overnight before washing it out the next morning. The next time I used it I used it for a much smaller. I think it was maybe 2 hours. I just don't find that it helps much. I don't find a difference after using it. Give and I do go as many days as I can between washes which I know also adds to the buildup and the itchiness of the scalp but my hair didn't feel silkier or shinier when I use this as a styling product to add shine. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it for 3C/ 4A curls.
