A friend of mine recommended Zenni and I figured I’d give it a shot as I usually spend $400-$600 on high end progressive lenses and another $250-$300 on upper mid-range frames. Zenni progressive lenses with scratch resistance and blue blocking coating were about $135 including a first time 15% discount code I got from my referring friend. It took about three weeks to receive my glasses which was fine. Once they arrive there’s a fourteen day trial period for a full return. Despite not being able to do a segment height adjustment, the lenses are fine. Not as absolutely sharp as my usual Zeiss lenses but this is to be expected for the price point. My main complaint is they look and feel cheap, which to blunt, they are. The bridge piece across of the nose is large and ungainly in comparison with the rest of the frame. I had tried on a similar pair of acetate Modo frames which looked better. Knocks offs are close, but there’s always that something that gives them away. They tend to slide down my nose and in general fit a bit off. I decided to keep them as a back up pair of glasses.
