  • I first got this brand when I moved into a new house and wanted to buy a full set of new dishes. I like that they were made in Portugal and that they’re simple. As anyone in their 30s now probably understands, I’ve lived in a lot of houses with a lot of different dishes. Now I can finally invest in something good, although surprisingly, I’ve already broken two plates and chipped another. I don’t have any memories of breaking or chipping plates in my houses through my 20s…. I truly don’t understand why they break. We are not in clumsy people. I use Crystal water glasses every day and none have ever broken.

  • BEAUTIFUL tableware with minimal and natural imperfections. Shipping is super quick and great opportunity to bring some beautiful color through tableware than plain white... their color selections match well with each other and is especially great for those really aiming to build out their ceramic ware or their tableware in general. It is fair-priced for a luxury good. If you are new to ceramics, be sure to learn how to take care of ceramics properly. Year & Day is a bit more fairly priced than other competitors on the market. Goods from this brand would also make beautiful gifts.

  • I just outfitted my kitchen with Year & Day utensils - and I couldn't be happier. They look amazing and they are the *right size.* Know what I mean when I say the right size? I struggle with utensils that are unexpected shapes or sizes (too big spoons, too small knives etc.). These are just right and they look great. I have the matte black finish on mine and I'm curious how that will hold up over time, but I think if I treat them well and with some care it should be fine.
