This is definitely a case of form over function. Pro: - Pretty Just a big list of cons: - awkward to hold after a while and the ridges can scrape up against your knuckles - can only turn on or off; no option to pause steam - only one steam setting, so I wouldn't recommend this for delicates - spits out water - drips boiling water (watch your toes!) - can't see how much water is left in the reservoir - reservoir isn't any larger than any other travel steamer. it's pretty small - can't open to refill or dump out until the metal canister is cool since the water is boiled in the canister - why is the canister metal? so that it can heat up quickly? I don't notice any time heating difference between this and my Conair Turbo ExtremeSteam Handheld Fabric Steamer (GS59X) (which I recommend over this 1000%) - not great for travel since it is pretty heavy - incredibly expensive for what it is. I got this through the Product Testing program, and I still wish I could return it for my money back. Just get the Conair Turbo ExtremeSteam. It's $50 + tax which is even cheaper than what I got this for through the Product Testing program.
