This almost-all-in-one Old Fashioned mix (just add bourbon) is excellent: It has a nicely balanced blend of ingredients (bitters, orange oil, cinnamon, vanilla, orange zest, etc.) that really elevates the taste. The recommended ratio (0.5 oz. mix to 2 oz. liquor (I prefer Maker's Mark)) is a tad too sweet, so I up the bourbon pour to 3 oz., which works perfectly for me. They also suggest using whiskey or tequila anejo, but as purist I haven't been eager to try that. My only real complaint is that the bottle is 16 oz., which equals 32 servings, and should be used within 6 weeks after opening (and needs to be refrigerated). Unless you have regular cocktail parties, that is a LOT of drinking!

I have tried two mixes from this brand- one for an old fashioned and one for a gin-based drink. Although I did enjoy the experience, I didn't find myself drinking enough to enjoy the whole bottle. It expires after a month or so. I would use these again, but only for a get together with friends where I know I would use most of it up. It definitely elevates your drink to a more "professional" level.

This is an excellent spirit addition for your cocktails and mocktails. I've personally used it for mocktails, and it's truly delightful! I tried the Agave Margarita, and I must say, it was delicious. It carries a tangy lime flavor, which I enjoyed, making it a definite must-have for your collection!a
