  • Overall I like the concept and I think the food is really good. Like other reviewers, I delay my box often and tend to only get a box every few months. They have some of the best cookies I’ve ever had. I subscribed when it was the free croissant for life deal and have enjoyed those. Some of the rolls were hard to get exactly right when cooking. The food lasts for a while in the freezer and I like the special edition options they try.

  • We just had the "everything but the bagel" sourdough tonight and the whole family went ga-ga over it. The parmesan biscuits are excellent. Harvest loaf is also good. I delay my box pretty often - we don't eat a ton of non-sandwich bread, and a box fills up the freezer. But if I know we will be hosting something or want to bring something comforting over to a friend, this is a fantastic choice. You can actually gift a full box of frozen bread as well!

  • I love the simplicity of baking good bread when I want it. The whole grain breads are delicious, especially the walnut cranberry bread. I'm not as fond of the pastries and cookies, however.

  • I bought the basket that includes pasta, croissants, a couple loaves of bread and self bake chocolate chip cookies. I have not yet tried the cookies, but the croissants and loaves took longer to bake to crisp up the products. Actually, the croissants took lots of extra time and I baked them again on second day and they were as croissants needed to be.

I’m not sure if my taste was off, but I really didn’t like the bread all that much. Too bready for me.
