Who Gives a Crap earns largely positive reviews for sustainable, plastic‑free toilet paper and witty, display‑ready wrapping, but opinions split on softness and thickness. Reviews praise the premium bamboo rolls for being soft, strong, lint‑free, long‑lasting, and subscription‑friendly, while recycled options and some recent batches are described as thin, rough, or downgraded in quality; tissues and paper towels skew less absorbent and softer than desired.

I love this brand & I love that we're on a subscription service that just delivers a huge box of TP to our door every few months! I never have to think about it! The TP is quality! My only issue is that sometimes the rolls have sections where the 3 plies come apart for whatever reason. But it's not often enough to ever deter me from this awesome brand!

Not crappy at all.

Love your mission and the care you have for those who have less in the world. More companies need to operate like you. You have a great product, with a witty website and it's very easy to manage the subscription. Keep doing what you are doing.

Overall, great value for money, gentle on the bottom, more than double the amount of sheets per roll as the 'leading' brands. This is my 2nd box and I'll not switch back to other false economy brands

Great quality, love the fun individually wrapped paper and that the company helps communities have access to sanitation.

The t.p. came super fast and it’s a Xmas gift for my husband. He is always cracking jokes, so this is my funny back to him.

Great product, can order as you need or schedule it. I scheduled for 6 monthly box and then worked out we needed it every 5 months. It now takes care of itself and I never have to lug a giant bulk of plastic wrapped rounds into the trolley when I shop. The rolls are good quality, soft on the toosh and extra long so last a good while.

Love the bamboo paper. We’ve used it exclusively for that past 4+ years. 🩷

I love this TP. It is the perfect texture not to thick not to thin. Although I (the girl/mom) live in a house with a husband and 2 sons somehow we were always running out of TP. What they are doing with it I promise I do not want to know but now its all good because we are always in stock thanks to Who Gives a Crap. I have it stored on a shelf in a stylish triangle tower in our main bathroom so it is readily available to everyone!

No, it's not as soft as cottonelle/charmin. But I still won't go back. So much better for the environment. Each roll lasts a long time, and I love the cute wrapping.

One of the best toilet paper I have used! The bamboo toilet rolls feel luxurious and does not fall apart as easily as most other brands when exposed with water. And every single roll comes in a very beautiful packaging which gives a nice presentation in the toilet when placed out in the open as a spare roll. Plus, I always find myself reading the nice notes on the packaging.

Easy to understand subscriptions, good pricing, solid product with a good mission. I shred and compost all of their packaging!

I love this brand and what they’re doing for the planet, and I love the witty and cute paper packaging. It looks nice in any bathroom out on display!

We use this brand at work and it's fantastic! Product is great, but the ethos of the brand is what stands out. The packaging is also greta, the copy is witty and their contribution to essential, human requirements globally is outstanding. Highly recommend.

I have been a consumer of WGaC toilet paper for over 4 years now. Last year, things changed. The product now has a design on the roll similar to store bought products (not a big deal but I wish I had a picture for a comparison to share), it is thinner or appears to be (odd), and not wrapped or rolled as tightly as prior orders I've received (kind of a big deal). Had I received a communication (mass email or otherwise) telling me that changers were happening and when, I suppose I would go with the flow. But this change irks me. Other than that, it is still a better product, "green wise" , than the alternatives in my local stores. So, I stick with the Poo Poo Heads :)

This paper was in my AirBNB! Loved it so much I took a roll home with me. The packaging is great and the quality is lovely. Thick without being spongy. Great product!

I wanted to love this brand so much- the mission and concept is incredible, but the product itself is not quite there. I gave this TP a full YEAR before giving up (mainly because of the large quantity it comes in). If you're looking for a great bulk price, this is it. But if you're looking for comfort/quality of experience, I wouldn't really recommend. I have extremely sensitive skin, and the roughness of this toilet did not do me any favors, to say the least. It's very rough, and very thin. For its thinness, I will say that it is very durable. But again, not soft at all.

I’ve been using this for about 5 years, first in the UK, now Ireland. The first pack we bought was the basic one and we found it a little thin so changed to the luxury one which was great at first. Unfortunately, every box we’ve bought seems to have got thinner even though we buy the luxury one. The last box was purchased from the EU site when we moved and it’s the worst yet by a long way. The difference between this one and the previous box was really noticeable. Love the big rolls and paper packaging but think we’ll be looking for another brand from now on.

I never thought I would have such strong feelings about toilet paper but Who Gives A Crap is truly the best thing to happen to my bathroom in years. It’s quality toilet paper that gets the job done and it’s not hideous to look at. I love that it’s shipped directly to my door in a plastic free box. I have it on auto-renew and it always comes at exactly the right time. It’s actually cheaper than buying toilet paper at the store, more convenient and better for the environment. Their dream cloths are also making me a better world citizen by significantly reducing my paper towel usage. I also really love their e-mail marketing. Their lifecycle marketer deserves a raise because their emails genuinely make me smile.

Although their standard rolls are a solid product, the premium ones are just so much better. I’d say spring for the nicer ones if you have the budget. My family of 2 typically takes the full 3 months to go through 48 rolls so it’s definitely worth it.

Expensive and clogged the toilet
Feedback
I really love the idea, but the toilet roll is so expensive and it clogged up the toilet/didnt flush easily. Sadly I had to give us my subscription.
