Westman Atelier’s Eye Pods are gorgeous to look at and the packaging feels luxe, but the performance left me a little underwhelmed. The shades themselves are pretty and very wearable, but the texture is a bit stiff, so I have to work harder than expected to pick up product and blend it out smoothly. Once on the eyes, the color is too subtle for the price point. I do appreciate how portable the trios are and how clean the formulas feel, but overall these didn’t wow me. They’re nice to have, but not a must-have, especially given how many other cream shadows blend more effortlessly. If you love the brand aesthetic and prefer a soft wash of color, you might enjoy them, but for me they didn’t quite justify the splurge.
