I used Trade for a year and got to try so many different coffee beans across the country! As an ex-barista I do appreciate how much variety they offer, including some famous ones in the coffee community like Onyx and Dune. While I can't speak on their other offerings, their whole bean coffee for espresso has been delicious and the subscription is so easy to manage when I need to postpone orders when I am traveling or ordering the next bag earlier when I get through it too quickly when hosting friends and family. I did cancel it after I moved since I have lots of local roasters here to check out now, but I would recommend Trade for anyone who loves coffee and wants to explore different tasting notes and styles to find their favorites. Once you do find a singular go-to though, I would recommend ordering direct from the roaster instead of using all your subscription beans on that one bag repeatedly since the premium you pay for the subscription is usually more than going to the source.

I signed up for a subscription and have received the first delivery so far. Selecting beans was quick and easy with a helpful guide to point you in the right direction. Delivery was fast and the beans were freshly roasted. Espresso was delicious - I’m not sure my palette can discern all the hidden notes, but it makes for a very enjoyable cup.

Received a bag of Oren’s City Blend from Trade Coffee with the purchase of a Technivorm Moccamaster coffee machine. They had a wide selection and great customer service. The bag arrived quickly and fresh. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love trade— I’ve been a subscriber for 5+ years now and I’m not stopping any time soon. I love trying new coffee regularly. My husband and I get so excited every time a bag arrives. The coffees are delicious and they have an impressive variety. 5 stars!!

Very comprehensive curation of coffees depending on the notes you like to taste, the roast you like, whether you want coffee hot or cold brewed, and they recommend coffees depending on your usual preparation method too. They let you switch it up every month.

I love this subscription! I have it for myself and have gifted it multiple times to my parents. My mom loves getting online and completing the quiz to share their coffee tastes. I love it for myself because I get yummy high quality beans delivered to me at the extra rate that I need them at (every ten days). Fun to try new coffees all the time and feels like I get a present evrrytime I get a new bag!

I've had my Trade Coffee subscription for 2 years now and am really, really glad that I've had it. It's a great way to have high quality coffee beans delivered to your home and to try out smaller brands and different kinds of beans/roasts. Trade also has some great educational resources which I appreciate since there's so much to learn about coffee. Currently, I have my subscription paused because I'm working my way through all the coffee I already have on hand but I'll resume the subscription as soon as I need more!

Great selection of coffee, super usable website, and the coffee is phenomenal. I like that it is constantly updating my suggestions and giving me even better options/broader selection. Their coldbrew kit is super helpful as well :)

It's an excellent choice for coffee enthusiasts looking to expand their palate and enjoy a thoughtfully curated coffee experience at home.

I'm obsessed with Trade! This is the only monthly subscription I've kept up with for a few years now. It's really nice not having to remember to grab a bag of coffee every time I run out, and I have found several amazing coffee companies/roasters that I would've never tried before. The discount on the coffee bags is a great bonus, too. Highly recommend!

I've been subscribed to Trade for over a year now. Great experience - easy to get exactly what you need at the right cadence, so I rarely find myself needing to adjust my subscription settings. Love feeling like I'm supporting roasters all across the country, big and small. I also appreciate their compostable packaging.

Trade is a great way to discover new coffee shops and roasters around the country. I enjoyed their selections and the coffee was very fresh. I was most impressed with the logistics of Trade. Trade's coffee roaster partners ship directly to you versus Trade managing fulfillment centrally. Often I would receive coffee that had been roasted just 3-5 days prior. This is a brilliant way to run this business that makes the coffee experience better for the consumer and the logistics easier for the roaster and for Trade itself.
