Reviews mention

  • Creamy, luxurious mouthfeel chocolate
  • Inventive, memorable flavor lineup
  • Chunky, satisfying bar format
  • Ethical, mission-driven sourcing
  • Overly sweet chocolate profiles
  • Thick, hard-to-break pieces
  • Inconsistent caramel texture hardness
  • Limited higher-cacao dark options

Tony’s Chocolonely earns strong reviews for rich, creamy chocolate, inventive flavors like Milk Caramel Sea Salt, Dark Almond Sea Salt, and Dark Milk Pretzel Toffee, plus mission-driven, fair-trade sourcing. Reviews also flag drawbacks: some bars taste overly sweet or bland to dark‑chocolate loyalists, the thick, uneven pieces are hard to break and share, and concerns appear about heavy metals in certain dark varieties and salt intensity in caramel bars.

  • Good chocolate and fun flavors. I like the giant bar size so it’s easier to share!

  • Delicious and black owned we love! All the flavors are good but the pretzel one is mind blowing. Highly recommend

Seasonal flavors would be nice to see!

  • These chocolate bars are delicious and I love that the company has such a positive social mission.

I don't love how thick the bars are. They're very hard to divide into smaller chunks, you either have to use a sharp knife or work really hard with your hands/teeth to divide. Would love if it was a little thinner to break apart.

  • The chocolate is great, but what I really love is the thick chunky bars. Great for breaking a piece off with tea

  • MY FAVORITE CHOCOLATE EVER. I have never had the urge to eat a chocolate bar in one sitting until I had Tony’s. Run to get a bar!!

  • The dark chocolate is incredible. From the first bite you can tell it’s made with simple but high quality ingredients.

  • Perfectly fine chocolate. Nothing amazing or groundbreaking. Really lovely branding. Worth the money for sure.

  • Absolutely love the flavors and variety. The packaging is also beautiful. I have yet to meet a bar I haven't enjoyed! Perfect for taking a chocolatey moment all to yourself (but sharing is caring, too!)

  • Super delicious and the packaging is so cute for gifts.

  • so darn yummy and huge. i love the mission of ethically sourced chocolate. it is not an easy task!

  • Tony's Chocolonely is soooo good. They have various flavors and sizes of chocolate bars. Everything I've tried has been really smooth and creamy. Most importantly, their cocoa is harvested on slavery-free farms and aims to push the industry towards not using child labor and slavery for chocolate.

  • Creamy delicious cruelty free chocolate, what more could you ask for?!

  • Have tried a bunch of the bars and they're delicious, and the mission and branding around it is great – would love to see a lot of other brands doing this. Price point ($5 at grocery stores?) also feels pretty good vs. other high-end or ethically sourced chocolate, especially since the bars are massive.

  • BIG chocolate bars that had yummy flavors and are good quality

  • The most tasty!!! Favorite chocolate bars.

    Feedback
