While at Harvard Business School, our Co-Founders spent two years crafting the non-alcoholic cocktails they wished they could find on menus and at dinner parties. They set out to create a line of complex, non-alcoholic social beverages unlike anything you’ve sipped before. 

We’re not mimicking the taste of booze or the quick and fast nature of on-the-go beverages. We believe in the importance of rituals and gathering, and our multi-serve bottles were designed with shareable moments in mind.

They provide a great beverage experience, especially when served over ice or mixed with seltish water. However, they're considered quite expensive given the bottle size, and some customers found certain flavors, like Tandem, too smoky or bitter.

This duo of non-alcoholic cocktails delivers a complex flavor journey.

Was excited to try out these non-alcoholic cocktails because they market being ready right from the bottle, just add ice. The packaging was minimal and humble, and I love that they call out how the bottles are hand-labeled, so the product feels small batch and special. The label design also felt very speakeasy and unique.

When I unpacked the bottles and stood them straight-up I thought they had leaked because the liquid wasn't filled up to the top or even through the neck of the bottle. While the label aesthetic is nice, it was perhaps a missed opportunity to not include that each bottle is its own individual mocktail vs trying to understand if it's a mixer or something else. I think what threw me off was the hierarchy of the name and flavor profile being at the top. The flavor of Lacewing was a bit too sweet for me, but I think I'd like to play around with adding some other ingredients to it. Each bottle was about one drink in a highball glass with ice. I probably wouldn't purchase the 6.8oz sizes at full price.

I really want to give this brand a 5/5 and the only reason I can’t is solely due to the portion size vs the price. To be fair, I did purchase 2 flasks (essentially 1 drink in each) at the discounted price for the Thing Drop, but at full price I would have been deterred. I would have to assume that as the brand grows, that will even out a bit.

The 2 varieties I tried were Lacewing and Tandem. I enjoyed Lacewing most out of the 2 - it was light and refreshing with just a pinch of tartness. Additionally, the hint of pear really rounded the drink out quite nicely. Tandem was also delicious - had a bit of an earthy mouth deal with a warming blend of spices. Cozy fall vibes for sure.

Overall, as someone who does not indulge in alcohol anymore, I feel that this brand absolutely smashed the N/A beverage category with these products. If the price comes down a little bit, I’ll be ordering these for many special occasions!

I tried Tilden during the most recent Thingdrop, which included the flask duo. 

At first glance, the packaging is beyond cute.  The two flavors included were: Lacewing and Tandem. They both were incredibly different. Lacewing was my favorite by far and I enjoyed adding a pear to garnish the drink. Tandem was also really good, it had a bit of a smoky flavor (reminded me of a reminiscent mezcal drink). 

Overall, I give the taste of these drinks 5/5 for being non-alcoholic. They both tasted good and had unique flavors. They weren't sweet and honestly I sipped them like I would a normal cocktail. Only reason I give 4/5 is because of the price. 

The Flask Duo sold at $17.60 (a supposedly 'discounted' price),  each flask was equivalent to *almost* one drink (100mL) which totaled it to be $8.80/per drink. Whereas on their site, they currently are selling each individual flavor at 750mL for $35 which is equivalent to $5/drink. 

Pricing is steep for a non-alcoholic drink to begin with, but occasionally I may splurge to pay $5/drink every-now-and-then.

Beautifully complex mocktails perfect for a quiet evening in. They definitely feel like an adult beverage, so drinking them is an experience. Tandem is dark and smokey, while Lacewing is bright and tart. I enjoyed both depending on my mood.

The taste of both lacewing and tandem were pleasant, but also felt like it was missing something for complexity. I’m glad I tried it out from thingdrop, but I wouldn’t buy it again. 

I was pleasantly surprised by these, much more so by the Lacewing (zesty & herbaceous) rather than the Tandem. Lacewing was delightfully refreshing and super subtle on the sweetness which I loved, with a nice flavour profile. Tandem was a bit too smoky for my taste, but I appreciated that it felt quite savory. Not sure I would re-purchase on my own given that I don't prioritize non-alc cocktails such as these very often but I quite enjoyed them nonetheless!

Arrived in a cool, old-school bottles that are keepers regardless of what you think of the contents. While they are "complex and interesting", our reactions were pretty diverse as to the flavors.  Most of us thought they were better over ice and in sparkling water in terms of mouthfeel. If you do like them, the price point is still pretty expensive per unit more in-line with alcoholic beverages which is a bit surprising. Overall, we'd give this a mixed review as such.

Overall it was fun and unique, just not as interesting or complex as other non-alcoholic cocktails out there.

I LOVE the scent of these, the taste is a plus! Very vintage look too! I suggested this to an influencer out there who came clean about an alcohol addiction. His story ripped through my soul. Alcohol can be a "ruiner" of good family, friend ties, and a thriving business. Tilden, thank you for existing and making the world a better place without more alcohol. 

I loved the packaging and the range of flavors. However, I thought the aftertaste was a little strange and the actual drink felt pretty grainy texturewise. 

Ok here's the thing; I didn't actually love these, they were too bitter for me. BUT despite my personal taste buds I kind of thought they were great: the packaging design is beautiful, the flavors are complex, and when I shared them with a friend I was unsurprised to find they loved them. There is a real dearth of cool, well-considered nonalcoholic beverages out there. This one ended up being the wrong flavor profile for me, a lover of sweet and citrus, but truly I would recommend giving them a try.

I tried the flask duo flavors. Overall, the flavor is great and serves well for an alcoholic beverage replacement. My only con is the price point. It still comes out to about $15/drink. For a at home experience, the price point is high. 

I’m surprisingly impressed by this drink. It’s low cal but very flavorful. The strongest scent that comes through is the oakiness which gives it that reminiscence of a true cocktail. The tart cherry is also quite bitter and tangy. 

Overall I really like the cocktail. Personally i like a little bubbles so I’d probably add some club soda to top this off but it’s great on its own as well 

Treat these drinks like any other cocktail, in terms of preparation and presentation. Chill a bit, pour "up" into a coup or over a big cube into a double old fashioned glass. Garnish as you wish with something complimentary - I used orange twist with the Tandem. 

Really nice cocktails, that don't make you feel like you're missing out on a "real" cocktail experience. I'm drinking some Tandem right now, and it's a bit of a rich/warm taste while being refreshing at the same time. I did chill it quite a bit and poured it over a big cube. It's a perfect thing to sip, like what a cocktail should be.

I tried the Tandem cocktail and really enjoyed the complicated flavors : tangy, smoky, and a hint of ginger. While this drink packs a powerful punch, it was surprisingly light. 

I had Tilden's Lacewing cocktail for the first time about a month ago and immediately became a huge fan. The cocktail is light and delicious, and the packaging is so elevated. The entire drinking experience really made the night!

Something for everyone who likes to sip mindfully. 

This is my go-to indulgence. So good. So simple. So good. I love it with a slice of orange or peel of cucumber. Ice. And of course a good book. 

As an expecting mama, I’ve been so underwhelmed by the NA cocktails at restaurants and in stores. Tilden brings new flavor profiles to the NA beverage space and I love them! Served both flavors (Tandem and Lacewing) at my baby shower and the guests loved them so much I bought double the bottles for my second baby shower coming up! I personally love the Lacewing as a former gin/vodka drinker- it’s herbaceous and slightly tangy, not sweet, and has a little bit of a spice kick at the end to keep the flavor profile interesting. The glass bottles are perfect for hosting a group. Beyond their flavors, Tilden’s customer support was so quick to respond and make sure I was a happy customer.

I think it's important to emphasize on the label/website that the drinks must be served over ice when consumed in order to achieve the full cocktail experience, especially the Tandem which actually deserves a bit of ice melting to soften the kick and reveal underlying flavor components.

I am a drinker of most things alcoholic, but am very intrigued lately by the possibilities of well-made non-alcoholic cocktails.   Tilden validates the viability of the such tasty beverages with a clean, complex, & low sugar/calories offering that doesn't contain artificial nor adaptogenic ingredients. I like the Lacewing. I would pour it for myself as a cocktail any time of the day I want to relax & sip.  Good stuff.
