Thousand Fell reviews say the brand works as a comfortable, easy-to-clean, and sustainably minded sneaker option, but durability and fit are recurring problems—many praise cushioning and recyclability while multiple users report seams splitting, sole wear, narrow toe boxes, and smell issues. This helps buyers who want a clean, eco-forward everyday sneaker but warns those needing long-lasting, wide-fit, high-support shoes to consider alternatives.

I'm on my second pair of white sneakers from Thousand Fell. These are a great find if you want a simple, logo-free sneaker. The biggest downside is that I found the soles to wear out much quicker than other shoes What I love -Simple, sleek, logo-less design. Great work sneaker. -Super comfortable fit -Fairly easly to clean as a white sneaker; magic eraser worked to remove scuffs, etc. -Appreciate the opportunity to recycle What I didn't love -The soles aren't as durable as many other sneakers. I live in NYC and walk a lot, and found that the soles wore through after a year of regular wear. I haven't had that issue with Vejas, Tretorn, or Gola. -I opted to recycle my 1st pair, and I had to email SuperCircle in order to actually get the credits as the tracking info never updated on their end
Super easy to clean, functional, plain white without being too boring. The laces are pretty short, I have a small tie and keep it tucked inside the tongue Incredible shipping time! They came so quickly after I ordered them.

I love Thousand Fell's focus on the circular economy and thoughtful, sustainable, design. The sneakers are super comfortable and easy to wear with any outfit. I ordered my Thousand Fell sneakers the first day they launched, and have been wearing the same pair for over a year. They are still perfectly white and in great shape. They are high quality at a great price.
Thousand Fell sent me a pair of shoes to try out and wow. The inserts are made of recycled yoga mats and when I tell you these shoes are like walking on a CLOUD. They're an easy shoe to grab for errands or a long day out. Honestly so comfortable.

They take a bit to break in the back of the shoe.

Shoes fell apart after 1 year of casual use - there's a giant rip in the seam on the right, and a hole on the bottom of the sole on the left. They're uncomfortable to walk around in thanks to the lack of any real support, and are very unbreathable. If I wear them to work for a week straight and it's hot out, they're stinkier than any other pair I own. And their support suuuucks. I was basically told, yep, "you've gotten a lot of use out of them!" when I contacted them about the shoes falling apart - no offer of replacement, no surprise they fell apart so soon. I love the sustainability ethos, but stay away from this brand until their fix their quality and comfort problems.

In anticipation of my 3-month European trip (May-July), I researched many many shoe brands searching for the perfect white laced sneaker that I could wear with anything & everything, daytime or dinnertime. My main requirements were: comfort, does not scuff easily, easy to clean, looks great with dresses, can wear often & odor resistant. After reading very positive reviews about the Thousand Fell odor resistant lace up sneaker, I took the plunge and bought them. They were one of two pairs of shoes that I would be taking with me on my 3-month journey. They were the perfect, minimalistic, white, comfortable pair of sneakers that I searched for. I wore them basically every other day, gave them time to refresh, deodorized them, etc. But after about 5 weeks into my travels the sneakers were noticeably smelly. Bad smelly. I tried airing them out for days & days. I cleaned the inside and inner soles with simple detergent & water, wiped them with alcohol swabs, etc., but nothing worked. Yes, I showered daily, sometimes more than 1x daily. I eventually had to dispose of my beautiful white sneakers halfway through my trip. I was so sad. I questioned how shoes made from recycled materials could remain odor resistant? After how long? After how many hours? After how many days? In what weather conditions? I never wore them in the rain but on the days that I wore them the temperatures were about 90f / 32c with high humidity. And I wore them ALL day. Perhaps a better clarification on 'odor resistant' would have been helpful - with the inclusion of a description of the intended or limited use of the product that would be in line with being odor resistant. Clearly, the use of recycled materials in the making of footwear was not meant to be used for lengthy & frequent use as commonly known when traveling. I was truly disappointed. I loved everything about my Thousand Fell sneakers except that they ended up very smelly - definitely not odor resistant. Perhaps they were only meant to be worn occasionally, for a few hours, and just as a fashion statement...?

These are the most comfortable sneakers I own. The insole is made from recycled yoga mats so it feels like I am walking on a cushion. But it's also really supportive. I've brought these as my only shoes while traveling, walking 20,000+ steps in a day, and have also worked out in them. Unsurprisingly, they are starting to come apart from all this wear. Specifically, there is some tearing along a seam on one sneaker. However, because of their circular business model, I know that I can send my shoes back and they will be recycled and I will get $20 credit back to buy a new pair.

Great mission and product recyclability. Cute shoes but very narrow fit. I wouldn't recommend this shoe to someone with wide feet.

Super clean sneaks! Comfy, cool design, and super unique recycling program.

Sneakers are slightly narrow IMO.
