The Ordinary earns strong reviews for being effective and ingredient-focused: many users report clearer, smoother, more hydrated skin from staples like Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution, and the AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution. Reviews also flag weaknesses: some formulas feel sticky or pill, certain actives (retinoids, vitamin C, high-percentage acids) can irritate or be too harsh, results can be hit-or-miss by product or skin type, and the range can be confusing without research.

I’ve started my journey with The Ordinary skincare products in 2020. The prices in my country was overpriced, so I made an order from UK. I’ve chosen four products and used them all. Especially, AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution is a full replacement for a regular face scrub. I re-buy this peeling till now. Also, recently I’ve started testing Glycolic Acid Toner. And I use this product not only for face :)

Good products. Nice prices. What could be better - add short video content ( IG, TikTok) how to combine and use The Ordinary products in appropriate order for different skin types.

If you're a skincare junkie like me, you'll love The Ordinary! Don't let the fancy medical terms on their packaging scare you off—the prices are super affordable, especially considering their products' effectiveness. My go-to is the Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 serum, which gives me a beautiful glow without making my skin greasy. And when I'm feeling extra fancy, I'll layer on the "Buffet" formula to plump and firm up my skin beforehand. But my absolute favourite is the 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil—it's the perfect night-time moisturiser, leaving my skin feeling nourished and hydrated without feeling heavy. Plus, it has a subtle, earthy scent that I just adore. All in all, The Ordinary has quickly become one of my favourite skincare brands, and I highly recommend giving them a try! TLDR: they’re affordable, they’re honest (vegan and cruelty-free), and they’re easy to use.

The Ordinary has a *wide* range of skincare products and finding the right ones for your skin can be overwhelming. Do your research and be careful about mixing products from other brands—stick with all The Ordinary or none at all for best results. Your skin will thank you!

The natural moisturizing factors + HA is my go-to everyday. I have been using this moisturizer for a few months and my skin has never looked better, it's a must in my everyday skincare. Love the texture and with only a pea sized I cover all my face, just the right amount.
Feedback
Everything it's good with this brand, not the first product I have used from The Ordinary. My skincare consists in Vitamin C + the natural moisturizing factors + HA + sunscreen. I feel covered for the day.

The Ordinary is straight forward. It is only what your skin needs and no extra add ins. It has seriously improved my facial texture tremendously.

I will admit sometimes The Ordinary is TOO clear. Instructions could be a little bit more thorough for the over-thinkers but, nothing a little research on the product can’t help!

I purchased 3 products from The Ordinary so far. The Squalane Cleanser is great at removing excess dirt and makeup. I use this as my first cleanser. I really like the Glycolic Acid because it’s not harsh on my skin and it help keeps my skin even. The Retinol 0.5% in Squalane is very good too! I know that some people have problems with retinol, but I use this one maybe 3 times a week and it really helps my skin feel good. No signs or irritation.

Overall, I really like The Ordinary and the products that I have tried. The bottle tells you exact what’s inside and they even give you the percentage of the key ingredient, like retinol.

The Ordinary has amazing products for such a good price, one of my favorite affordable brands out there.

I would love them to make a better retinol though.

I’ve struggled with acne prone skin, oily skin, dry skin- just skin! I actually have positive remarks for The Ordinary. I think for someone who is new into skin care and / or may be hesitant to try out new products (in fear of - well breakouts) this is a great, cruelty free, and cost efficient brand.

Dealing with hormonal acne and sensitive skin I have struggled in the past finding skincare that works with me. Making the decision to try these products; Salicylic Acid 2% Ahydrous Solution, AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution, and Salicylic Acid 2% Masque, has helped my skin feel brand new and worked perfectly. I use the peeling solution and the Salicylic Masque 2-3 times a month and the Salicylic Solution after everytime i wash my face! I stuck with my routine and saw a huge improvement to my skin!

Affordable skin care is something I believe everyone loves! Make sure to stick to incorporating the products you purchase in with your routine and the results will be worth it! :)

Let me tell you, The Ordinary saved me. Growing up, I never struggled with acne, until I got to college. I was stressed out and using a ton of products. I had these terrible dark spots and hyperpigmentation that would not go away. I stumbled across a tiktok, as well as a dermatologist, that told me to simplify my routine. The Ordinary's Niacinimide and their moisturizer was recomended to me. I paired it with a hyaluronic acid/ Vitamin C serum and trusted the process. Within a month, my skin instantly cleared up. I have now been using my skin care routine for about 2 years and have not let go of The Ordinary.

There honestly is nothing I can say besides they need to carry it in Walmart, Target, and all the Ulta stores!

The price point is budget friendly. I’ve been using the SolutionGlycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution. My skin feels smoother and looks brighter. You can find this product at many locations so it isn’t hard to find. I would recommend this product.

I used to suffer from little texture bumps on my nose and forehead but after using The Ordinary's Retinol, it cleared up o completely! It doesn't have a fragrance which is important for my sensitive skin people out there. And I love. the formula. It doesn't feel greasy or too thick. It soaks into the skin beautifully! I discovered Retinol is an important step everyone should have in their skin care routine. Me being a beginner to skincare- I had no idea. Huge fan of all things Ordinary! I buy these products three at a time because I'm scared of running out! If you don't have retinol in your routine yet, this is the perfect product for you!

I recommend this brand for anyone who is a beginner at skin care and you're not sure what to buy. It's an affordable brand that focus on quality.

I've been using The Ordinary on-and-off for about four years now. I say "on-and-off" because I've never actually been thoroughly impressed by the brand. On the flip side, I've never been really disappointed by them, either! The last product I used is the brand specific product I will be reviewing , and that is the Retinol 0.5% in Squalane. I used this for a couple of months and just couldn't get to grips with the oily feeling it left on my skin. Had my routine not included applying this right before bedtime, it might not have been such an issue, but since retinol is best applied in the evening, I found this to be my most convenient time. I wouldn't be able to comfortably lay on my pillow for fear of the oil getting on the fabric. It simply didn't absorb efficiently enough. Overall results were just okay, but not nearly good enough to ignore the "oily issue."
Feedback
Better absorption qualities. I'd rather pay a little more, for a more refined product.

The ordinary recently dropped their haircare and I am I love .So convenient to have a body wash & shampoo in one for that price point .
Feedback
Definitely consider a bigger bottle.I use it as body wash everyday and shampoo twice a week so there’s no way it will last a whole month .

Simple and effective, no bs products. Love the niacinaminde.

I use their retinol nightly, it's great.

I love the Glycolic acid and hyaluronic acid duo. They leave my skin feeling clean and fresh.

A must have fr

Great quality, simple with no scents or additives. Amazing price point. Everything you could want and need.

I love the price point of this brand. Giving you the necessary active ingredients without the crazy markups.

Great quality! Inexpensive brand! A good landing spot for those that don’t want to compromise price for quality.
