I have really come to love this brand over the years. Before knowing anything about ingredients, I would always avoid reaching for products that only showed one or two ingredients in the formula because I wouldn't really know what it was supposed to be doing for my skin and the last thing I wanted was to hurt my skin with harsh ingredients it wasn't ready for. After learning about ingredients and what specific ingredients my skin needed, this brand became a staple for me when searching for simple yet effective products that had ingredients I knew I could trust.

Whether these products work or not depends on how frequently you use the products, if you are using them correctly and depends on whether you are using the right product for your skin type. I have tried the multipeptide + HA serum which gives my skin a nice hydration and bounce. The niacinamide serum is also really great but can quickly damage skin if you use too often without using enough moisturizer because it is very drying. I didn’t notice much changes to my fine lines from the argireline solution or the matrixyl serum. There are better options for me personally for fine lines. Overall great, affordable brand for serums.

The Ordinary is hit or miss with me. I appreciate the single active ingredient focus which makes it easier to figure out what is working / what doesn't work. But there is a bit of experimenting that needs to happen and some of the products could use some secondary ingredients for 'support' - i.e., the retinol does not absorb well or the hyaluronic acid is kind of sticky. The line is VERY affordable but you end up needing to buy a lot to test out what works.

This is no ordinary cream, for smooth skin feel and hydration. Love it! Buying again.

The Ordinary’s products are exactly what you pay for; effective enough on a budget. If you’re looking for skincare basics that you shouldn’t be splurging on (i.e. face wash & moisturizer) this is the brand. But their serums and more active products don’t pack the punch of slightly pricier and more effective products.

great price straightforward. only for if you know exactly what ingredients you need. great packaging

I’ve used their light foundation and it’s wonderful. Light and liquidy. It goes on easily and makes skin look more even toned yet not like you are wearing makeup.

I really feel like these products offered no benefit. I tried all three cleansers and they all smelled like leather polish to me. The vitamin C gel didn't do anything either. Have found brands that work much better for me. Good pricing though.

Great packing. High quality skincare at an affordable price. My favorite product is the aha 30 % bha 2 % peeling solution. Marked difference in dullness and and exfoliating the dry skin off of my face. Only have to use once a week.

The ordinary products are great quality for a good price. I have their hyaluronic acid serum and niacinamine. They have great serums

Prices are amazing; ingredients are simple and straightforward. The Ordinary appeals to this Child of a Chemist. It’s super great for those sensitive to many ingredients. The Ordinary products just have the active components you are looking for, with as little additional stuff as possible.

I've been using the Ordinary for a few years now, and even though I've tried multiple other products (I'm a licensed aesthetician so it comes with the job) I've got to say, I keep going back to the Ordinary for my personal skincare!

it takes a while to see results and sometimes I feel like the product is too strong to use on my skin sometimes. I do love the price point though

The Ordinary products are amazing, they are the first products Ive used on my skin that deliver the promised results. After a month of using the Vitamin C extract I was receiving constant complements on the new glow on my skin!
