I've been using the ordinary for almost 10 years. I've used many more of their products, but I'm only including the ones currently in my lineup. Their items are no-frill, but they completely changed my skin at a time when my skin was super dry, irritated, and unhealthy looking AND I had no idea how to create a skincare routine. I did go into one of their stores in SF and a sales person helped me build my routine and she was a lifesaver, since they have a HUGE variety of products (the benefit is that you can pick/choose ingredients specifically to target your concerns). The salesperson helped me start on my journey to understanding what ingredients and combination of ingredients work well for my skin, and how to experiment with them. Because of the price point, I don't have to worry about experimenting and the cost. Honestly, other companies that cost more are more likely to break me out because they put so many different ingredients into a single solution or serum. I got my sister to start using the ordinary, and I'd honestly recommend it (especially the AHA + BHA peeling solution) to literally everyone.

The Ordinary is one brand that I've been constantly & consistently purchasing over & over for the past decade & more! I use their serums, boosters, masks, moisturizers & have tried most of their their products & I definitely have my all time favs, such as their AHA + BHA Peeling solution, which works better for me than the huge brand names that cost a fortune & their glycolic acid toning solution, which is one of the best toners I've ever tried! Their products work, period & their prices are extremely low considering how well they actually work, plus there are no bad side effects nor purging for me! Mostly all are effective & give me no purging or problems! Other favs are their niacinamide serum, hyaluronic acid serum & moisturizer, rose hip oil, moisturizers, face masks, ALL of these products have thoroughly worked for me, with no irritation & because of the consistent results & their consistently lower prices, I ALWAYS go back to these! It's simple for me because overall their products work amazingly well for me & you can't beat their prices!

Worked wonders for my skin! I use it as hoc when it starts to look a little dull and I feel like it brightens up skin, makes it look a little more plump and helped fade some acne scars! I don't have very sensitive skin but It does cause a burning sensation when you put it on but I think that's expected! Would recommend !

I admit the look is a bit intimidating at first, but the results are unmatched. As someone who takes skincare seriously, I look for products that deliver true renewal. I use this peeling once a week (never more than 10 minutes!) and it feels like it’s wiped away years of dullness. My 40+ skin loves the glow and the ultra-smooth texture it leaves behind. It’s the best value for anyone wanting a "new skin" effect at home.

I absolutely loved ordinary products! They are highly effective and very affordable. Simple and right to the point ingredients! Love that the products come in glass bottles. Been using it for years because they actually work!

This is a great product for its price point. Some users might interpret the tingling and “pain” (mild stinging) as beneficial (“it’s working!”) and push past safe limits. That’s why I gave it a 4 star rating because I believe there are times I am unsure when to remove it (and I have been getting professional skin treatments for over 30 years). I believe with guidance, this can be an effective and useful product.

In general, the serums are great! This one can be a bit tricky during winter due to the cold and dry weather. it helps me control oily skin, but my skin is mix so during winter it gets super dry. it pinches a little, so wouldn't recommend for sensitive skin. 1 every 15 days helps with the pores and blackheads too

I'm loving everything I have gotten so far...the price point is amazing and just as good probably better than the overpriced overhyped celeb endorsed products...highly recommend you willnot be disappointed!

The perfect brand for those looking for high quality products that won’t break the bank. These products make for a great gift for those just getting into skincare, but they are also tried and true for keeping your skin looking great.

The red bottle one liquid me and my friend use but it worked more on her acne cause she had more and it clears within two months max, very clean smell, not messy and I would recommend this for skin that isn’t sensitive

I love how affordable The Ordinary products are. The packaging and feel creates such a high end look. I was surprised to find out how much the products were and how convenient it is to get them. I have only used the AHA 30% product and it is a nice peel that makes my skin feel refreshed.

This brand makes skin care accessible on cheap products and many can buy, and there are lots of benefits and options to choose from there. Something for everyone here to pick dermatologist recommended high quality. I trust this friend to offer great results.

I am not a big fan of this brand. It is affordable, but none of the skincare items work for my sensitive skin. The AHA peeling serum and azaelic acid serum are too strong that it damaged my skin barrier.

Such a great brand - I think this is a gateway brand for many people and it did something that honestly changed the skincare industry forever by focusing on minimalistic, ingredient-forward marketing!

Good brand mission of cheap simple yet effective skincare with lots of various blends and acids for every skincare need. Some are more effective than others.

The aha/bha exfoliating serum was way too strong for my skin and ruined my skin barrier. It also burned my skin when putting it on.

The Ordinary offers high quality, solution based products at a very affordable price. Rather than buying an expensive product they claims to address a variety of issues, The Ordinary has products that focus on one treatment, with high quality ingredients. It's possible to buy an entire line form them for what you would pay for one product from a luxury brand.
