I bought this serum during the winter when my usual serum/moisturizer combo wasn't cutting it. I was still experiencing dryness and got a rare facial. When the aesthetician made a hyaluronic acid serum suggestion, I bought The Ordinary's Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Hydrating Serum frankly because of the price and online reviews. I'm so happy I did! I have not gone a day without using this serum since. I use it after cleansing and toning, as the third step in my skincare routine. I use it morning and night and have not experienced any dryness at all regardless of season/being outside, etc. I also love The Ordinary's Retinol 1% in Squalane and use that every other night or so. I look forward to trying many more products in their range because the prices are great and they deliver real results.

This is one of those rare products that actually lives up to what it promises. It hydrates instantly, layers well with everything else in my routine, and never irritates my skin. When I apply it to damp skin and lock it in with moisturizer, my face feels soft, balanced, and plump all day. It’s not the cheapest out there, but it’s worth the price for how well it works. I’ve repurchased it more than once, which says a lot. Definitely one of the most consistent and reliable steps in my routine.
