This has to be the most beautiful and practical pot I have ever purchased. The unboxing experience was so much fun and the quality of the pot is top tier. It’s a very good quality ceramic. As someone who forgets to water their plants this could be a game changer! I can’t wait to put a plant baby in it and see how it goes! It would also make an amazing gift for a plant lover!! EDIT: The plant i planted into this planter is absolutely thriving! I am shocked at how much it has grown with so little effort on my part!

I cant believe how well thought out and high quality this planter is! From the box it comes in to the design to keep the roots and soil healthy — if you have a finicky plant babe — this is for youuuu! The price is high, yes, but I do believe the investment is worth it if it aligns with your values.

This was a great unboxing experience and product. I loved how the packaging was made in a way to be useful as a mat and tools. Genius, sustainable, and delightful. The actual planter is solid, heavy, and well made.

I am so excited about my Tendril pot. It’s sturdy and really blends innovation with beauty. I was a little bummed to find out after getting all my materials together and repotting station setup outside that you are supposed to wait overnight before you actually pot the plant so that the dehydrated soil power pods can rehydrate. So I prepped the pot and packed everything up to finish transfer the plant the next day. I’m thrilled about the self-watering / water level system to help me water the plant appropriately as I tend to over water. Im not sure how big of a plant you could put in it because the bag isn’t that large/deep and I did have to add more soil (used my new Rosy Soil!) I can’t wait to see how my plant grows!!

So far so good. Setting this up was easy and it looks great in my kitchen. My mint plant took to it easily. My only issue is I probably wouldn’t pay the full price for this. With the thingtesting discount it’s an easy buy, but over $100 for a planter is a bit much. Update: my mint plant died in this…

The unboxing experience was fantastic – each panel clearly showed which side to open first, and the eco-friendly packaging was thoughtful and well-done. The planter itself is beautiful, modern, and fits seamlessly into my decor. However, the instructions weren’t clear at all. I had to go online to figure things out, and only learned from another review AFTER planting that you’re supposed to let the soil soak overnight first. I transferred an overwatered plant hoping the self-watering system would help it recover. Two weeks later, all the leaves have wilted even though the water indicator floats and the reservoir stays filled – the top soil remains dry. I’m not sure if the water isn’t reaching the plant properly or if my plant was too far gone, but at $99, I expected clearer instructions and better results. I’m giving it another two weeks, but so far I can’t recommend this at this price point. This planter me work for new plants, but not for resuscitating old ones. The first video is after I replanted, 2nd video is a few days later, and the photo is 2 weeks later.

They left me alone for weeks, dear reader—weeks! And yet, I stand tall, verdant, and gloriously unbothered. The Tendril planter, with its sorcery of self-watering and air-pruning, has turned neglect into nourishment. I do declare: never have my roots felt so pampered, nor my leaves so lush. If your thumb leans black, worry not—Tendril makes flourishing foolproof. A vessel worthy of any green soul. 🌿

The design is minimal and classy—it fits seamlessly into my space. But the real game-changer is the self-watering feature. I travel a lot and now I don't have to worry! The unboxing experience was so fun, and I appreciate the eco-friendly packaging with no tape and a repurposed box that unfolds into a repotting mat for minimal cleanup! Highly recommend for anyone who wants thriving plants without the stress!

I'm obsessed with this planter!! I had a plant that I repotted but the leaves were never bright and it was on the verge of dying. Since I've repotted it in the Tendril planter its been perfect – so lush and a vibrant color. There is a little water level float in the bottom part that you can check water levels and see when you need to add more. Mine has been about once a month. I feel so inspired to get more plants now knowing that I wont invest in them then end up killing them. Can't recommend it enough. I'm hoping to do a big basil plant next!

The most fun unboxing experience. The inner tape-free packaging unfolds to double as a repotting mat. Perfect for those of us without backyards to do repotting in! I was able to fit the mat right in my living room and the experience was pretty mess-free. It was pretty fun to learn about biomimicry and how Tendril is very much not the average self-watering planter. For one, the roots are never sitting in water, and instead uses a wick that feeds into the water; letting the plant suck up as much (or as little) water as it needs. It sort of felt magical to watch it happen. In all, this planter helps you take better care of your plants without having to worry about under/overwatering. The product is fairly heavy & ceramic and honestly looks pretty luxurious. Would make a great housewarming gift or perfect for that friend who is always traveling and needs a house sitter to water their plants.

This is a beautiful, high quality ceramic pot. The whole system is honestly very well thought out for apartment-dwellers - it comes with soil pucks that can be rehydrated so you don't need to buy soil, and the package itself can be repurposed as a trowel. The actual "watering system" is nothing new - It's a felt that absorbs water from a resevoir within the base, which I've seen in other products before (albeit nothing as high-quality or large-format as this). I actually do like that it's relatively low tech as I feel like it will be harder to mess up. I have probably the opposite of a green thumb so yet to see if this helps me keep a plant alive for more than a month but I have high hopes.
