TABLEAU is a multidisciplinary studio and gallery based in Central Copenhagen. TABLEAU works with art, design, interior projects, and creative concept. The studio functions as a gallery where different artists, designers and architects are curated and get to exhibit, a design studio, where small as well as big objects are created - and a flower studio, where normal bouquets as well as large flower installations are constructed. TABLEAU works with different upcoming and established create people, from all over the world, while also creating full spatial designs often in collaboration with these. The studio likes to break the lines between art and design and work with many various people for its projects. TABLEAU was founded in March 2018 by the experienced florist Julius Værnes Iversen. When opening TABLEAU, Iversen had a dream of deconstructing the binding notions in the area of floral design, which he wanted to elevate to the level of art, and in that way make flowers a material used more within the art scene. For the past years TABLEAU has concentrated more on art, design and spatial designs and this year started to participate on international art fairs such as Collectibles in Brussels and later, Alcova during Salone del Mobile in Milan.
