Reviews mention

  • Invisible, weightless application
  • Makeup-friendly, primer texture
  • No white-cast formulas
  • Wide, innovative assortment
  • Occasional oily finish
  • Eye-stinging spray/mist
  • Pilling with some routines
  • Limited tint shade range

Supergoop! earns largely positive reviews for making daily SPF wearable and effective, with Unseen Sunscreen, Glowscreen, and PLAY praised for clear application, no white cast, and makeup-friendly textures. Reviews also flag weaknesses: some formulas feel oily or silicone-heavy, can sting eyes or cause breakouts, Glowscreen separates or runs shiny, shade range needs expansion, and several users question ingredients or SPF efficacy versus cheaper K‑beauty dupes.

  • Love love the tinted sunscreen. Absolutely light as air, does not clog pores and smells great!!! Goes on smooth, evens skin tone and unless you are sunbathing/swimming lasts for an entire day.

  • Nice to have a genuinely clear sunblock. Filters are good, not too greasy. My family are various race and skin tones and we can all use their sunscreen because there's no whitecast or matte finish. A little expensive but a great product and unique for now. Lots of imitators coming due to the success of this product and at a more accessible price but until they're more available it's a great sunblock for various skin tones.

  • It makes my eyes super watery, I don't love the scent either. I find that it melts a lot into my eyes, and I do not love the texture

  • Really wanted to like the spf glowscreen but it broke me out ;( leaves a lovely glow though!

  • The only sunscreen we buy. Worth the price, especially if you go for the big squirt bottle and find some type of sale.

  • I wanted to like Supergoop! so badly but their products make my skin breakout. I rarely have reactions to skin products but every time I have tried their products my skin breaks out. They tend to feel oily when I put them on so maybe that is part of it.

  • I have always hated any type of sunscreen. It's sticky and smells terrible. NOT Supergoop! What amazing products! I have tried many products in this brand and I have not found anything that I wouldn't purchase again. Great brand!

  • I really love the unseen screen as well as the mineral sunscreens for face and body. I had high hopes for the glow screen, but it sits quite heavy and often feels uncomfortable on my skin. Will definitely be sticking to unseen and mineral screens! They rock!

  • Daily user of Glowscreen, Unseen, and Play. These SPF products are great for my skin type. The Glow Screen sometimes "ages" on the skin with a copper-like finish but I mostly use it as a highlighter or bronzer rather than for full coverage. I will say that the Unseen "dupe" from Trader Joes has taken over recently because of cost savings and it's easier for me to pick up when I'm already grocery shopping at TJs. Play is my preferred "summertime" or "active outside" SPF. I look forward to trying more of the Supergoop SPF "makeup" type products that are available (shadows, shimmers, setting powder etc)

  • Supergoop Glowscreen SPF 40 is the best sunscreen I’ve used! Super hydrating and looks great used alone or if I wear underneath makeup.

  • My favorite sunscreen by far. It works really well and i like that ingredients are higher quality that most standard sunscreens.

  • I love how this product feels very light and smooth on my skin. It doesn't make me look shiny or oily

  • Love, love the glow screen for my face. It leaves a very subtle sexy shimmer that’s perfect for summer. It does a great job at protecting my skin from sunburn. I absolutely love it and only want to use it on my face from now on!

  • Love that this has SPF in it! But it is not buildable and pills easily.

  • I use the clear sunscreen and love it. Doesn’t leave any residue or cast and feels weightless. Would love to try the tinted version!

  • So I actually love their products, and some are pricey but I think good enough to justify the cost. So why the 3 stars? Well, I’m just over everything being in plastic. I can’t really purchase this anymore and feel ok about it, unfortunately.

  • I love the using glowscreen under my makeup to add a dewy/glowy look to my skin! Sometimes it can feel a bit heavy, but most sunscreen feels like that to me.

  • Overall a great brand, although it is pricey. Not a fan of the Mattescreen - WAY too drying for my skin type.
