Reviews mention

  • Velvety, invisible finish
  • Makeup-friendly primer texture
  • Inclusive, no white cast
  • Lightweight, elegant formulas
  • Occasional oily residue
  • Chemical scent or eye sting
  • Tinted shade range limitations
  • Packaging clogs or separation

Supergoop! earns largely positive reviews for wearable, no–white-cast SPF formulas that double as makeup primers—Unseen Sunscreen and Glow Screen frequently impress for smooth, lightweight application and everyday protection—yet some reviewers report greasiness, pilling, breakouts, or separation and question efficacy versus cheaper dupes. Reviews highlight inclusive, matte-to-glowy finishes, easy reapplication formats (sprays, sticks, powders), and family-friendly PLAY, while noting product-inherent drawbacks like oily feel, chemical scent or eye sting, heavy shine from Glow products, limited shade range in tints, and occasional packaging clogs or leaks.

  • Pricey, especially w/ other alternatives hitting the market, I used the Unseen, but I do have sensitive skin and notice that if I'm active and sweating a lot it irritates my skin.

    remove the scents??

  • feels really nice on the skin! works great (sunscreen) and does not feel heavy or greasy!

  • I tried the unseen sunscreen and the body mist. It was really easy to use and implement in my daily routine. I don't love the consistency, I have oily skin and it leaves a little bit of a residue after, but it goes away after it sits on the skin a bit.

  • I have the roll on supergoop! I like it especially on the go! My boyfriend only uses one brand and will put this on time to time and likes it. The roll on gets you an after a facial glow. You look dewy which is a look I like.

I think the roll on could have more in it. I also think if they created a matte roll on for those who don’t like the dewy look.

  • I’ve used their everyday sunscreen and love that it’s lightweight and protects my skin, I swear the texture improves when I layer it with my makeup too

  • Supergoop hits that rare niche of “trendy” and “works”. Their Glowscreen is my go-to.

More clinical info on how their prods protect your skin!

  • Great selection of products for all skin types. I find the unseen sunscreen particularly useful to apply in hot and humid weather - I’m able to use enough product (about a 1/4 tsp for face) for lasting SPF protection and it stays sheer and relatively matte. Their setting spray is also nice for reapplication during the day.

  • I use unseen sunscreen every day and love it! Play and Every Single Face are great as well for days at the beach. Glow screen was not my favorite but overall the finishes of each product are lovely and blend in great without causing breakouts

    Could be a bit cheaper

  • Glowscreen is amazing for reapplication over makeup throughout the day. Effective and easy to work into skin.

  • Truly don't get the hype. I found their products way overpriced for what it is. I can get this quality sunscreen from any japanese market for half the price. The sunscreens are nice and lightweight, but Asian products have been doing this for decades.

  • I wanted to love the Unseen sunscreen so bad. It's so lightweight and a perfect makeup primer BUT my skin does not like the formula, causing a rash.

  • Supergoop is by far my favorite sunscreen brand (and I've tried soooo many). My favorite is definitely their glowstick (easy to reapply on the go, perfect dewy finish without feeling heavy or greasy).

The only product I've tried I don't *love* is the SPF mineral powder. I find the applicator doesn't always work / it gets a bit clogged.

  • I love Supergoop's Mineral Mattescreen in SPF 40 and it's a product I find myself reaching for daily. It offers sun protection while leaving behind a tinted, matte appearance that minimizes the size of my super obvious pores and offers shine control. There is nothing worse about sunscreen than the white-purple cast that gets left behind and this is not a worry with this mineral-based sunscreen. It's clean, science-based, toxin-free formula makes it approachable and good for regular use. I was recommended this product by many friends and I'm glad I took their advice!

Fewer product options please, having too many options available leads to confusion and decision paralysis

  • Enjoyed it, but went on to find other spf products that worked better for me.

  • Only sunscreen I’ll use on my face. Love the smell, texture, and feel.

Sooo pricey. Please make it more affordable

  • Very lightweight. Did not make my skin greasy, really good for oily skin.

    N/A

  • I've tried the lip balm, body oil, and unseen. Love Unseen Sunscreen, this is my go-to for reapplication since it's light and almost feels like a primer. I enjoy the body oil, but am not convinced it does much in the way of sun protection, but it's hydrating and smells pretty good. Lip balm I got in the squirt-type form which I don't like, so I need to give the stick balm a try. It's shiny and smells good.

Lip Gloss: could be more hydrating, I need to use this product off and on with a regular chapstick otherwise my lips feel dried out

  • Tried their sunscreens and the scalp scrub. For the price point and hype, it doesn't perform as well as Asian products especially for sunscreens. The salt scrub also irritated my sensitive scalp and stripped my hair a bit; it feels nice though!

  • Really nice texture, love the branding that makes sunscreen/sun safety "cool"
