I got my ears pierced for free with an apprentice and only paid for jewelry. I like the business model and the customer service at the store— definitely felt like an upscale Claire’s. I think the jewelry is a bit overpriced but enjoyed the process! I had some questions about healing and went back in to get downsized a few months later and it was a seamless process.

The adult Claire’s. The vibe is cute and aesthetically pleasing and you get stickers with your piercing. That’s where the good ends. I got 4 piercings and bought 2 sets of gold plated earrings. Less than a year later, one set is completely tarnished. I can’t tell for the other set because they put special flatbacks when they pierce your ears and you need to go in person for them to downgrade them to regular backs. When I went back to get it changed out, they only changed one set and said the other needed more time to heal. With their limited appointment availability in their LA locations, I havent had a chance to fight traffic for a 3rd time to change the other set yet. It’s a bit annoying since I’m not able to get it off on my own and wear other earrings. Lastly, their service was very hit or miss at the LA - melrose location - the first piercer I had was really sweet but the second time I went back to downgrade the earrings, the piercer yelled and blamed me for not treating my piercing correctly which is why it wasn’t healed. Really off putting experience for expensive “gold” jewelry that will tarnish within a year. Would not recommend.

Super cute place! Helped me remove an old cartilage piercing and swap it out. Haven’t had any issues since!

I've had a couple piercings through Studs and I've loved every experience. It's a cute space and the piercers I've had were super nice. I think they use higher end gold plated/filled jewelry for the piercings too. That's a 5/5. The reason I knocked it down to 4/5 is because I've purchased a couple earrings from there online and I feel like the quality is pretty low. I've thrown out a lot of the earrings I've purchased from there as they've tarnished over time. It's cheap and have cute designs, but I'd rather invest in nicer quality jewelry.

My studs are delicate and so cute!! They haven't tarnished and i've been wearing them non stop! LOVE Studs!!!

I've had a better experience with their huggies than I did with the expensive ones from Mejuri

I've made two purchases from Studs and have been really happy with the quality of the earrings. I have three piercings on each ear, and really enjoy the range of sizes and mix-and-match styles. I'm really happy with the quality for the price. Some of the tiny sets really are tiny — just something to be aware of as you shop! The unboxing / packaging is also super cute, they ship with scratch off coupons, dime bags, stickers and a neon reusable pouch.

I received a gift from this brand from a friend and I loved the earrings! They were simple yet sleek and had a cute design. It came with a cute lovely little pouch that I also use to stores other earrings in as well.

Last month, after thinking about it for a bit, I decided that I wanted to get a helix piercing. Since I'm based in NYC, I did a Yelp/Google search for what was around, and saw a lot of tattoo shops that also offered piercings. There were also more expensive jewelry brands that also offered piercings, but with the caveat that you had to spend quite a bit of money on their jewelry. I was so glad to find that there was a Studs open right near me. I made an appointment, went in, and the whole process from start to finish was so quick and easy. My piercer was so knowledgeable and did her best to make me feel as comfortable as possible. I'll definitely be going back here for any future piercings!

I got my ears pierced at Studs about a year and a half ago and had an excellent experience. The space was clean, service was efficient and very fairly priced, my piercer was helpful and kind, and I liked the jewelry selection on offer.

I went into the store to potentially go get a second piercing, however, I was met with some of the worst customer service. As normal, I was making conversation with one of the ladies who worked there and she proceeded to look down at the floor and ignore me. Not only did this deter me from wanting to get what I went in for, but this turned me off from the brand completely as their employees are a representation of the brand.

The customer service was great! My piercer Mel did a good job. The products and earrings were a variety of nice designs.

I ordered stud earrings from here both of which were around $35 for one single stud. Received them today and the earrings are so bent that they don’t fit into the flat backing piece. Extremely disappointed, won’t purchase from here again.

I am incredibly disappointed with my first experience at Studs. I went in for my 3rd ear lobe piercing and selected 2 different pieces of jewelry - 1 with a flower and 1 a stud. After about 2 weeks the stud sunk into my earlobe so I immediately made an appt online. There was nothing available until the next day and calling their bot service was zero help. I walked in and luckily was able to see someone, but after looking at it she sent me to urgent care. The reason I am disappointed in my service is because there is hardly any information on what to do if the piercing gets infected, and I'm not sure why none of the piercers are trained or let alone have the tools to resolve sunken piercings. At urgent care the doctor even asked why they were able to use such a small stud for a new piercing. She also mentioned they see tons of patients coming in due to infections from piercings at Studs. The doctor recommended I throw the jewelry piece away and don't return to Studs. I understand that things like this happen, but it would be nice if Studs would provide some sort of refund or free service since their employees are not trained for this time of situation. This triple piercing has resulted in a much bigger bill than I anticipated and was really hoping for a better experience than what you get when you visit a department store to get pierced...
