Stasher Bag wins praise in reviews for durable, leak-resistant silicone storage that replaces single‑use plastic, performs in freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and even sous vide, and comes in versatile, space‑saving sizes and colors. However, many reviewers flag persistent drawbacks: tough-to-clean seams, slow drying that can lead to odors or mildew, occasional staining or smell retention, tricky openings, and rare tears or imperfect seals with liquids—making bowls/stand-up styles preferred for ease of use.

  • Perfect for picnics, work lunch or even stashing your vitamins. Dishwasher safe and dries up pretty well. Do not use to store spaghetti or any sauce substance, it will stain and you will be bumped!

  • I switched to Stasher bags in 2021 - I've been using the same ones since then and only one of the got a rip and had to get rid of it. I'm a big fan of how wonderful they are - here's more detail: 1. dishwasher safe - easy to clean 2. seal very very well - I was of course worried about the seals, but IT'S GREAT 3. multifunctional - I use them for cheese, apples, soup, and makeup or toiletries when I travel I have multiple sizes including the stand up soup ones. I'm a big big fan slasher and never going back to ziplock plastic baggies. The silicone is legit, it's worth it. In the picture I am using the standup ones in the freezer for pancakes.

  • Have about 20 of these. I love all the shapes and sizes. I use them for fridge, pantry and freezer storage. My only issue with them is they can absorb soap flavor as well as flavor of some other foods but mostly soap. Which makes other items like breads you put in them taste like soap.

  • These are sturdy! I’m trying to be more sustainable when it comes to plastic use, so I got a few Stasher sandwich bags and a snack size bag too. I repackage snacks like cookies in them so they stay fresh when the boxes aren’t easily resealable. I’ve also used them for travel and stored makeup wipes in them. The only thing is they do hold smell. They’re silicone. I used them in the freezer and the smells of the freezer stuck to the bags. Overall, I recommend though. Love the fun colors they come in.

  • Love the reusable snack and sandwich bags. The silicone material can be microwaved/heat proof (up to a point of course) and can be washed in the dishwasher. Top rack. I use mine daily to replace all the single use disposable food bags I used to use. The only gripe I have is that they can be much harder to open and load/unload than the thin disposable bags due to the thicker edges in the opening. Bonus is the fun color options!

  • Ok so when this first showed up in my ipsy box I was annoyed. Like why didn't they give me something I can use and be excited about like eyeliner or lipstick? Well I am signing A different tune now. I LOVE this little sealed flexible snack storage container so much! So of course I am noticing them everywhere now.

  • I'm a stasher bag fanatic. My biggest problem is buying too many of them. I love them and their mission and the fact that you can send them back once you deem them nasty (hasn't happened to me) and Stasher will recycle. I've tried competitors on Amazon and they just do not compare.

I mean - they are pricey - but I usually buy when they have sales.

  • Really thick nice quality reusable bags. The most useful one is the one with the wider base. I put my dog’s kibble and measuring scoop in there. It seals so I am never worried about spills and I feel good about not using another disposable ziploc.

  • Love my stasher bags. I use them for literally everything from meal prep to a bag for my makeup. I have even popped popcorn in them. So amazing and worth the splurge if you are buying enough to replace plastic ziplock bags.

  • I use my Stasher bags daily. They are perfect for any type of food item; frozen food, soup, veggies, lettuce. They help keep everything fresh. Te only downside is, I have had a few rip when putting bread with a crisp crust (or chips) into the bags. When they get a small rip I jut use them for something else at home!

  • These bags are super strong, boil in a sous vide, microwave, and don't spill. They seal tight and esily. They come in colors so your family knows whose sandwich is whose. THere are cheaper brands, but this one is by far the best.

  • I’ve been using Stasher bags for years as a sustainable alternative to ziplock bags, and they’ve always been incredibly easy to use and clean - just pop them in the dishwasher! When we rescued our pup a year and a half ago, we needed a convenient way to carry his treats on walks. We tried all the classic treat carriers, but once we started using the Stasher Go Bag, we never looked back. It clips securely onto his leash, making it super convenient, and the quality is just as great as the rest of the Stasher line. Highly recommend!

  • Stasher Bags are a family favourite in our house! They come in all different sizes and colours, which makes them easy to use and fun for the whole family. My personal favourite is the sandwich size, as you can fit a large amount of food & snacks in the bag and they have a really easy-to-use closure! They work great for lunches and are easy to clean - we put them right in the dishwasher and air to dry. Overall, these bags work great! In fact, I'm including them in multiple Christmas gifts this year for friends & family.

  • I recently purchased these reusable baggies and I’m absolutely obsessed with them. I looooooooove that they are incredibly eco-friendly and sustainable, but I was almost more impressed by their ability to keep items fresh. For example, I put half of an onion in the sandwich sized bag, threw it in my fridge, and completely forgot about it. When I later found and opened the bag a week later, the onion looked just as fresh as the day I put it in there and there was NO ODOR. Like I said before, absolutely obsessed. 5/5, no notes. Worth the money for sure!

  • As a single-dweller, I’m using Ziplocks on the reg to bottle up food portions. In an attempt to lessen my Zip print, I bought a Stasher sandwich size. Dubious as I was, I just ordered 5 more in various sizes. It keeps food fresher longer, it’s easy to clean and it holds up better in a bag for transfer!

It’s a bit pricey. I’d like to see these sold in variety packs.

  • Love this product. Great way to help the environment and teach kids responsibility. My daughter uses it weekly and it works well. No odor left behind and easy to wash and dry.

  • I discovered Stasher a few years back (around 2018?) and it's been helpful when we travel or take a quick hiking trip around the Bay Area. It's also great knowing that it's reusable and is helping reduce waste in the environment. We don't primarily use it to store food but we use it to store small items and products when traveling so that it's all in one place. When we do use it for food, we usually use it to freeze heavily ripened bananas so we can use it to make banana bread at a later date.

We've never put our Stasher bags in the dishwasher so we end up washing it ourselves. This can take a few days for the inside of the bag to dry out - we usually prop it open on a clean, empty water bottle so air flows through more easily. We also noticed that the seal isn't super strong when storing something that has liquid inside it (ie: watermelon, ice, etc). So that was a bummer when we had a little bit of a mess because we used it to store watermelon and ice (separate Stasher bags) and realized that juice/water came out of the bag.

  • Me encantan son muy prácticas y funcionales, entra bastante producto y se lavan muy bien y rápido,se cierran muy bien son de excelente calidad!

  • Love these - gives an elevated, chic feel to the generic zip lock bag. The thickness of the material also means food doesn't get as squished or deformed

  • We have completely replaced our plastic bags! We ordered a couple of sandwich sized bags at first to test them out, and we loved them so much that we bought several more sets of all sizes. I love how easy they are to clean, how resilient they are, and how long they last. Not to mention they are safe from plastic chemicals, and we are producing less plastic waste by using these instead of one time use plastic bags. The colors are cute, so my kids are proud to bring their snacks and lunch to school in Stasher bags!
