Starface wins praise in reviews for playful branding, a handy refillable compact, and making acne feel celebratory, yet its classic Hydro-Stars often underperform versus competitors at extracting “gunk,” reducing inflammation, or staying put—especially overnight. While some users see quick results (notably with Micro-Cloud or blue salicylic acid stars), many cite weak adhesion, small one-size patches, and limited efficacy on early or cystic blemishes, making the brand better for pick-prevention and daytime cover than potent treatment.

i find these work very well. I do find it difficult to peel off the plastic without accidentally folding over one of the points

I purchased the cleanser, toner, moisturizer, nose strips and 2 different styles of the stickers for my 13 year old daughter this Christmas. She has acne prone skin and was very excited to try this brand…it was at the top of her list. She thinks the skincare made her break out with little tiny bumps on her forehead. It’s hard finding the perfect formula for kids just getting into skincare. She loves the stickers, though, and they do work - I stole one to try on a large cystic pimple I felt coming on and it was almost gone the next day. We will repurchase those. Oh and the nose strips definitely work if you follow the directions.

They stayed on through out the day . Love them

patches are soooo cute!! they stick pretty well, but sometimes the patches will come off. i have tried the glossier collab ones and the regular ones, but i really want to try the tea tree ones. i think there are more absorbent patches out there, but if you care about aesthetics, i would reach for these.

It's worth the purchase. I rarely get pimples, but when I see one coming, I use one of these patches.

Starface has incredibly current marketing and design. Their aesthetic is very pleasing and prompted me to purchase their pimple patches. Unfortunately, I did not find them nearly as effective as their competitors. I will not likely repurchase.

I love love Starface pimple patches, they're like cute stickers that actually get rid and cover up my blemishes. Such a great alternative compared to an exposed pimple or trying to cover up a zit with makeup. Literally the cutest packaging ever and the star design spices up every look!

Super cute packaging and patches. Aside from the great branding, I personally haven't seen a big improvement when wearing the patches. I feel they mostly work for white heads that are ready to pop. Great for ensuring you don't pick at your acne but other than that, wouldn't say it's super effective for most acne types.

Cute and fun! Kept me from messing with the pimple so it healed quicker.

Worst customer service and fraud company. I requested to cancel my order within 5 minutes of placing it, and they refused to refund me. No clear policies and they just want to scam you. Stay away from them

Honestly they dont stick well to my face, after like an hour, not even touching my face they start to peel at the corner. Another think I have noticed is that it does not even minimize the pimples/ blemishes on my face. I have been using starface for around a month and have tried to give it the benifit of the doubt but they are just not working for me.

These hydrocolloid patches are great for zits! Although they don't stick if you moisturize the area first, you may just pat dry the surface of your skin on where you wish to apply it!

The Starface pimple patches are soooo cute, which is why I decided to try them, but they aren't as effective as other pimple patches. I found these fell off my face while I was sleeping, which doesn't typically happen, so I don't even know how effective they could have been.

They don't really work for helping with acne to a great extent. I mostly just use them to remind myself not to touch a blemish. They are incredibly cute though and I people always tell me that they think the shapes are adorable. I would probably buy again because I feel like they work for me for the purpose of the reminder to not touch my face, but this product wouldn't be great for someone looking to clear their acne in my opinion.

I love that Starface allows people to treat and heal their blemishes without feeling like they have to hide them! The unusual shape of the stars has pros and cons; for medium/large blemishes, the center of the star might not cover them completely, but the angles between the points of the star allows it to stick to some hard-to reach areas like around the nose or at corners of the mouth. The compact reminds me of a Lego minifig and the mirror is handy. It’s a fun gift to give and makes a great stocking stuffer. I’m taking 2 stars off because the stars themselves don’t seem as thick as other patches and I feel like they saturate quickly. Sometimes they don’t stay on well overnight either. I feel like they run slightly expensive for the functionality of the product. I find myself reaching for them less than other hydrocolloid acne patches unless the blemish is very small, in a hard-to-reach/corner area of my face, or I don’t need it to stay on overnight. Still, I like to have them on hand because sometimes having a cute pimple patch makes a pimple day a bit easier. Most of us won’t have glass skin all the time!

I have been using these for over a year. These are definitely the cutest pimple patches on the market, and apply easily. The case is very convenient. However, I don't feel that they are extremely effective. They help minimize the spot, and prevent you from picking at it. I do think that the blue, salicylic acid stars work better than the traditional yellow ones. Overall, they are great if you are looking something to help minimize a little and prevent picking.

From a design perspective their social presence is brilliant. They definitely stand out and don't hold back from jumping on the meme train. The products themselves are great, in particular the little holding case which is pretty handy. I personally don't think I'd wear these stars on my face when out and about but I like how this is becoming more commonplace. I feel there's much cheaper alternatives that work just as well. The price is pretty high even for the refill packs. They do feel like a trusted brand even with the lighthearted & fun style.

Ok, these are super cute and basically I wear them when I have to go out and don’t want to wear make up. The yellow ones are fun, they also have some that come in a variety of colors: pink, purple, green and blue. The problem is they don’t work as well as other patches in my opinion and these te a higher price with lower count. They also tend to unstick by a corner which doesn’t usually happen with regular circlle hydrocolloid patches.

I loved Starface! I used the pimple patches on a really stubborn spot and overnight the redness had reduced and it had finally shrunk! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
