I'm definitely not green fingered and my house plants have always been on the verge of dying. Topping them up every week with a bit of water and hoping! The Sowvital Plant Care products stops this, just add their elixir to the prescribed dose and away you go. With the 3 step routine and also the advise on the website makes this idiot proof! And there is no need to hide this under the sink! The beautiful bottles want to be on display and should be!
I have used the products for approximately 4 months now. What do I love: 1. Sowvital creates a clear weekly routine for you to follow to help manage having house plants. Step 1: Cleanse, Step 2: Nourish and Step 3: Spritz. This has given a clear framework and structure which has helped (and also made me really enjoy) caring for my house plants. It's not so much a chore as a really nice ritual (kinda like skincare). 2. The products really work. The antimicrobial aomori hiba they use in the leaf cleanser has definitely helped prevent mould on the leaves. I've also seen much more growth than usual on my plants: new leaves etc from using the elixir. 3. The brand is so elegantly designed and the products are beautiful to put out on display.
Looking forward to further products that get brought out, and would consider having a little booklet included in the elixir which provides more information, as I think there could be even greater detail about how each of the actives work for the plants.
This routine did wonders for my plants! My drama queen in chief Alocasia black velvet even gave me the honour of flourishing for the first time ever thanks to the elixir (you know how dramatic Alocasias can be…). A friend gave me a cut of Monstera and it became huge quite fast too. I think it also helped one of my Pileas to come back to life. Also, the cleanser is perfect: I don’t use tap water as I don’t want it to create white spots on the leaves but I felt really self conscious about using specific water or milk (my mom uses milk) for this purpose as I have quite a lot of plants. The cleanser really makes them shine. The products are also beautiful and sit well on my shelves next to my books: it’s handy because as I live in Paris city center I don’t really have space to store huge and ugly plant food bags. To make it short this product is handy, effective and beautiful :)
I look forward seeing what’s next for this brand!
