Blurring Pillow Blush in Bare Muse
I bought this blush because I liked how different it was from all the traditional blushes out there. It looks much more pinky than a more tan/nude color that it appeared as a photo on the website.
I do like how unique it is. I am unusually tan at the moment so at first swatch I don’t think it will look as good on me as it would with my normally very fair skin tone.
I ordered a couple Soshe items after getting served an instgram ad - I was searching for a non-black eyeliner and a tubing mascara and the algorithm must have heard me chatting! I ended up ordering their Waterproof Tubing Mascara and Precision Eyeliner.
Tubing Mascara:
- Pros: I love that the mascara is tubing and was long lasting during the day. Tubing mascara is much easier to take off without a bunch rubbing and this lived up to expectations for that. It was fairly easy to build as well and I thought it really did enhance my lashes.
- Cons: It not have the best applicator - sometimes the mascara came out the applicator too thick, meaning there were times when I was getting glops of it on my lashes. I also didn't love how chunky the applicator itself was. It pretty large and square so it took up a lot of real estate in my makeup bag.
Precision Eyeliner:
-Pros: I love this color! It's so hard to find alternates to black eyeliner and I loved the other colors they offered too. It's soft and natural looking, so great for everyday.
-Cons: I found this tip to be actually too small and precise. I found it incredible difficult to work with and I struggled to get a smooth application with it. I typically use a liquid eyeliner so maybe I was expecting too much but this pencil didn't seem to glide at all, especially above my lash line.
I don’t feel like this was particularly moisturizing and it didn’t really leave as much of a tint ad I had hoped. I also really didn’t enjoy the fragrance. I much prefer the caudalie lip moisturizer
