I’ve been a Sonos fan for years. In the beginning, the setup was seamless, the sound was incredible, and the whole ecosystem just worked. Over time, though, the software has gotten harder to deal with. I have more than ten speakers and half of them barely connect anymore—the experience just isn’t as smooth as it used to be. That said, I still love the brand. When it works, the sound quality is strong, the price is solid for what you get, and the overall design is clean. If you’re setting up a system you never plan on moving, and you want a cost-effective way to get great surround sound, Sonos is still a good option. Just be ready for some bumps on the software side.
