After I tried this sunscreen brand (body and moisturizer), I thought I had finally found the holy grail for mineral sunscreen that: 1. Was easy to rub in 2. No bad smell 3. Didn't leave my skin greasy (good for daily wear) However, after doing some research, I feel like I got duped. There is only 1% Zinc Oxide in the formula and 2% Titanium Dioxide. In order for a mineral sunscreen to be effective, it needs to contain contain 5% to 20%+ Zinc Oxide and/or 2% to 10% Titanium Dioxide. Typically, the sunscreen should be 10-25% active ingredients total, while this comes in at only 3%!! That's why it feels great on the skin- because it's not a true mineral sunscreen. Just putting this as a warning to people. And I would be curious if others have experienced sunburns while wearing this? I'd be interested in the brand responding to this concern around their formula? I continue to wear this product, but only on days I am mostly indoors or not outside in the heat of the day. I don't want to take the risk.
