We were in the market for a durable, comfortable beach chair. While Shibumi is obviously known for their shade solutions, the chair is also great. It’s lightweight and easy to carry. It doesn’t go all the way back to a lie flat position, but it does recline significantly. As Floridians who go to the beach nearly every week in the summer, this is worth it.

Shibumi was founded in North Carolina in 2016 by two brothers Dane and Scott, and their best friend, Alex. Their first product, Shibumi Shade, forever improved the way we experience the beach, providing shade by working with the wind, not against it.
