Sharpie is the best brand for permanent markers, and they make great highlighters as well. They're the one brand you can trust when it comes to marking objects other than paper and knowing your writing will stick to it.

Sharpie makes a fantastic array of markers. I like the variety of sizes of the ink as well as the different colors. They are useful for various settings, and the ink stays well. My favorite kind of Sharpies are the thin ink, as they can be used for writing in many situations.

I have never been disappointed with a Sharpie product I have purchased. Their every day colorful markers are great for kids and adults alike, and their more artist/DIY focused paint pens are great for projects where you need more than the average marker can provide.

Sharpie known for their permanent markers has also made their pen called the S-Gel. The pen writes really nicely and smooth and the ink goes on the paper well. It is fine point so depending on your paper you might have trouble with paper that is more rough and textured. I would use this pen on paper that is smooth.

Sharpie is the best brand for everyday use for not only personal use but also businesses and maintenance work. My husband uses a Sharpie marker for his work and I like using one to make thick permanent marks on household items.

I have used and loved SHARPIE pens and markers for years! I love using them to permanently mark things in the kitchen. I use them every day for organizing and for my calenders and to do lists. I use them so often I keep 1 in my purse/bag at all times! The sets of colorful markers are great to give as gifts for teens or adults!

I've used a ton of Sharpie products over the years and have experience getting them off of materials (like marble and jeans! Alcohol or Hand Sanitizer usually does the trick) - I love that there's a huge thick marker for posters or moving boxes and I love the metallic collection. I know their are artist types who compare best color payoff and different qualities but Shapie is a stable brand usually easily accessible without going to an art store.
