I think it's a really unique product, I don't know how they turned seaweed into seaweed puffs, but that is really innovative. The taste of these wasn't bad, I can taste the seaweed-ness but also think they nailed the k-bbq flavor vibe. I don't see much of these online nor at the store anymore as I did a year or two ago, and it seems like they're shifting what type of product they are offering judging by their website and instagram.

I discovered these delicious puffs at The Goods Mart in NYC. I was initially drawn to the incredibly cute packaging and the nutritional quality. These snacks are organic, vegan, gluten-free, and non-GMO. The crunch is light and the flavor is unique. It's a perfect snack for kids and adults alike. I highly recommend you give them a try; I will definitely be buying more Sea Monsters!

As with any puffed snack, they can bit a bit messy, so just make sure you watch for seasoning dust once you get to the bottom of the bag - which I promise you will be quick!
I like this brand because they make puff snacks that taste great and have good ingredients in them. Both flavors I tried tasted good, but I preferred the sour cream and onion one.
It was just ok. They definitely taste like algae so there’s that. It’s not very fishy but they do have an umami taste to them. Interesting but wouldn’t purchase again

Sea Monsters was inspired by our own little monsters. Our two boys would come home from school ravenous for all the stuff we didn’t want them eating: super-salty potato chips, blobs of neon sugar... the carrot sticks didn’t stand a chance. So we came up with a snack that’s better for them, but just as tasty. And with sustainable ingredients like sorghum and seaweed, it’s better for the planet, too. We’re avid surfers, and want our kids, and all kids, to be curious about the sea and all it's fascinating creatures. Sea Monsters snacks is our way — a fun and delicious way, we think— to give back to the planet and kickstart a lifelong relationship with the sea.
