Schar earns strong reviews as a gluten‑free staple that generally tastes like “real” bread and crackers, with standout baguettes, multigrain loaves, and honey grahams; it works for sandwiches and holds up toasted. Reviews also flag weaknesses: some crackers crumble under spreads, certain items skew sweet or bland with gummy texture, and loaves can run small and dense.

If you are in need of gluten-free products, then this may be a brand you've turned to before. I will say many of their products are dry, tasteless, and expensive. These "Twin Bars" made to replicate a Kit-Kat actually taste pretty good though with a creamy milk chocolate.

For someone who is simply looking at the health aspect of gluten-free items, I was surprisingly impressed by Schar. I especially like their graham cracker treats and bagels. While this brand is a bit more expensive than traditional brands, the health aspect and taste make it worthwhile.

I have tried a few different products from this brand, and I've liked all of them. I write this as someone who is able to eat gluten but still enjoys the taste of gluten-free products sometimes. The breads have all been good, but I do dislike that the bread comes in an extra layer of plastic. I get that it's to keep the bread fresh longer, but in that case they don't need the thin, plastic bag holding the bread at that point. The crackers I've tried from this brand have been good. I especially love their rosemary crackers. The only problem I found with their crackers is that they tend to be very crumbly.

Schär makes some awesome gluten free products. They have these nice round crackers. So if you are craving some ritz crackers but you can’t have gluten this is your go to! They have other fun items out there as well that you can check out! The crackers taste good by themselves or with some cheese.

Their bread is probably the best bread I've had. When I first opened it I thought it was kind of small, but after trying it I thought the size was perfect. It just tastes like quality bread; usually breads that are gluten free have some off putting after taste or a weird texture, but that really wasn't the case here at all. I just wish it wasn't so expensive, but for this quality, I completely get it.

I really didn’t expect much from gluten-free bread, but I got the opportunity to sample Schär for free. When I ran out of my regular brand, I finally opened it up and gave it a try. OMG it wasn’t dry like I expected, it was thick and chewy and there were seeds throughout. It was great and my picky family agrees. We will be buying this bread again. Also tried the ciabatta and it was decent, but not as good as the loaf bread. This multigrain definitely gets my vote and may have just made this glutton for gluten a fan of gluten-free bread!

I tried the Entertainment Crackers, which though a bit granular tasted fine, so long as you didn't try to spread anything on them. That's because once you added a soft cheese, jam, or anything that had to be applied with even the slightest pressure, they crumbled. That's a problem when the packaging prominently claims "Pair with cheese, antipasto, jam or perfect plain." I ended up with about a quarter of the bag filled with bits and pieces, which I scarfed down by the handful rather than using them to entertain. I didn't dislike them, but in the future they certainly won't be part of any charcuterie board I put together.

While this bread is pricey, it’s worth the money. It’s got quality ingredients, and honestly has lasted a long time. Usually bread molds in days but these last weeks without mold. I love this bread so much.

Great brand with great gluten free products. Most of their products have good taste and texture even though it’s gluten free. This is something I feel most brands will have to compromise when it comes to texture but this brand is still is good. The only prick i have with the brand is that it can be a bit too sweet for my liking. The twin bar and graham crackers are a bit high in sugar for my liking.

I had the honey grams after lunch as a snack. I like the smaller packs so the rest of the crackers won’t get soggy. Taste is the same as a regular gram cracker. Texture was noticeably different. I prefer the texture of the regular one to the gluten free version. Unless I have a friend who needs gluten free in their diet I will stick to my usual crackers.

I was sooo excited when Schar came to the US and started expanding. I found the attached picture from January 2018, and have never looked back. While the honey grahams and other cookies are great, Schar’s baguettes are top of the line for gluten free savory offerings. I truly don’t know how they do it. Schar forever

Schar bread is a great gluten-free option with a pleasant texture and satisfying flavor. It holds up well for sandwiches and toast, and it’s one of the better gluten-free breads I’ve tried. While it’s a little denser than traditional bread, it’s still delicious and a reliable choice for those with dietary restrictions.
The breads aren’t very great. They are a little bland and the texture isn’t great. There are better gluten free breads out there. The crackers are very good though!

This tastes SO delicious and reminds me of club crackers! My only thing that I didn't enjoy was that the crackers didn't exactly split down the middle (no biggie, but still haha). The GF bread tastes delicious/chewy and the texture is pretty great. I got the ten-grain one and I thoroughly enjoyed it as a PB+J sandwich and a chicken sandwich.
Schar was one of the first brands that had a decent gluten free recipe before most of the other brands. The bread is always really chewy and fresh tasting. The only downside is the size is a little small but that's to be expected with a gluten free loaf

I enjoyed these crackers in the car. What I like: nice crunch and pre-packaged so they are portable. Not very salty so would be a good vessel for more flavorful dips or cheeses. What I didn't like: the texture became a bit gummy in my mouth and remained stuck in my teeth for a while after eating. Since I was eating these plain, I would have preferred a bit more salt and flavor.
This gluten free sourdough bread is a pleasant surprise. With minimal ingredients that are all healthy in nature, it deliversit delivers a robust flavor and satisfying texture. The multi-grain blend adds a delightful nuttiness to each bite. It offers a delicious and wholesome alternative for those avoiding gluten. Also tasted honey gram cookies. The package of three is the perfect portion size for a satisfying snack. The cookies are incredibly tasty, with a rich, buttery flavor that's balanced by the sweetness of honey. What's even better is that they're made with healthier ingredients than traditional cookies, making them a guilt-free indulgence. Each bite is crunchy, chewy, and utterly delicious. If you're looking for a tasty and nutritious treat, these Honey Gram cookies are a must-try!
