Reviews mention

  • Distinctive asian-inspired flavors
  • Natural fruit-forward taste
  • Clean low-sugar formulation
  • Versatile cocktail mixer
  • Inconsistent flavor intensity
  • Occasionally overly tart profile
  • Variable carbonation balance
  • Polarizing pomelo and mango

Sanzo earns positive reviews for refreshing, Asian-inspired sparkling waters that taste clean and often true to fruit—standouts include Lychee, Calamansi, and Yuzu—so yes, the brand works as a flavorful, low-sugar alternative. Reviews also flag inconsistencies: several flavors read muted or overly tart/sour, carbonation can feel either too soft or too aggressive, and pomelo/mango divide opinion, making the lineup hit-or-miss for some.

  • I love their sparkling waters and their unique flavors. I regularly purchase a 6 pack at Whole Foods, but have seen it stocked in non-specialty grocery stores, too. I love to drink these throughout the day, and use them for cocktail mixers, too. They’re refreshing and have the right amount of carbonation. If you’re trying to cut back on drinking soda, give this a go! They’ll definitely help satisfy cravings.

  • I’m not huge on sparkling water because I want my drinks to have flavor but these are actually really good. I like to use them to make a sparkling matcha just to make it even better but they’re honestly good on their own.

  • Refreshingly new flavors on your favorite sparkling water beverage will become your new staple go-to. A similar fizz to other canned carbonated waters but with elevated favor profiles like calamasi and mango (two of my favorites). I also like the fact it uses real ingredients and not “natural flavors” which could mean whatever they want it to me. Try it!

  • I've tried both the Lychee and Mango flavors of Sanzo and liked them both. I wasn't wild about Lychee flavor, mainly because I felt the flavor lacked a punch, it felt more muted in a way. The mango on the other hand was super flavorful and a really lovely departure form other "mango" flavored sparkling beverages on the market. I love that it's still low in calories but feels like a treat. Whenever I see these in a store I buy them, they are super delicious.

  • It was tasty at first, but also tasted somewhat artificial.

  • I bought the sampler that has all four flavors. They're somewhat pricey for sparkling water, but they're mostly very tasty. The lychee flavor is the best, in my opinion, and one of my favorite flavors across all the many brands I drink. Mango and yuzu are both just a touch too tangy for my taste, but they're a nice break from more bland sparkling waters. The calamansi is a bit more intense than I'd prefer; I do like the flavor of calamansi in general, but I'm not a big fan of lime sparkling waters, and the calamansi is a particularly intense lime-like flavor.

  • Was hyped about this, but the lychee one does *not* taste good.

  • Truly love this brand and their delicious flavors. The mango is always my go-to. I've been drinking this brand since they launched, and you still really cant find similar flavors anywhere else.

  • I am a Sanzo day one stan. One of the only sparkling water brands that tastes fully natural and like real fruit. My favorite flavors are calimansi and asian pear for everyday sipping, for a treat I love mango and lychee. So refreshing and really the best flavors on the market.

  • love the brand, love the product

  • I originally discovered this delicious sparkling water while navigating through the aisles of WholeFoods. I got the mango and lychee flavored ones and honestly the flavors really brought me back to when I lived Oahu. The flavors really tasted like someone climbed a lychee or mango tree and muddled them into the most vivacious carbonated water. Definitely a healthier soda alternative and better tasting than Poppi. Both flavors are a must try!

  • Enjoyed it 🔥🔥🔥

  • Highly recommend the calamansi flavor. Not sweet, just flavorful and refreshing. I'm always happy to see Sanzo in stores. I wish the mango had more flavor, but I still like it. Lychee was just ok and I haven't tried the new Yuzu yet!

  • Great balance of fruit juice and carbonated water. Love the curation of the fruits that you may not be aware of. I especially love the Calamansi flavor. Widely distributed across New York.. probably nationally.

I'd love to see them get anodized cans and do away with the plastic sleeve. But I know they're a newer brand, so it takes time to get can minimums to a high enough volume.
