  • I started with the The Face Set and have since repurchased Tanning Water Medium-Dark for face at least half a dozen times. I love the new packaging with the spray nozzle--it's beautiful and so easy to use! I've been using Tanning Water for my face for like 2+ years now and love it! I switched from Tan Luxe tanning drops. My tan color was always a bit too orange and the product caused the occasional blemish. The Tanning Water delivers natural color (I always go for medium-dark even though I'm pretty fair-skinned) with no orange and no irritation. I usually spray Tanning Water after serum but before moisturizer (morning or night). Pro tip: spritz a little on the backs of your hands and buff lightly with the tanning brush before you go to sleep--your hands lose their self-tan color first due to frequent washing. Tanning Water fixes it overnight!

  • I love the Tanning Water! As a self-tanning connoisseur, I switched to Saltyface from Tan-Luxe drops. I was never really satisfied with the Tan-Luxe drops; the color was a bit too orange for me and did cause the occasional blemish. I've never had an issue with Saltyface and I'm glad I started with the Basic Tanning Set because I always apply Tanning Water with the spray nozzle and face brush; it's so easy. Go for the Medium-Dark. I have very fair skin and have found after years of self-tanning, the darkest formula is always the best one if you actually want to look like you have a bit of color. I religiously wear 60+ SPF and avoid the sun for health reasons, but I want to look bronzed and beautiful and Tanning Water delivers. I've never experienced a breakout and I apply it whenever I'm looking a little pale. Day or night, usually after serum, but before moisturizer.

  • I have light olive skin, which means I have the pale of my English side + the green undertones of my Italian side. In the dead of winter, this is NOT an ideal combination. This is where the Saltyface Face Set in Light-Medium has been SUCH a winner - I put this on as the final step in my evening skincare routine 1-2 times a week, and am left with a subtle healthy glow that gives me life without looking like I self tanned (the goal!). It feels light, and have never had any issues with breakouts or anything as a result. The brush is also a lovely way to apply it.

  • I bought a face bundle that included the face tanning water, application brush, and freckle paint. Love the light, natural color this product gives! The freckle paint is super easy to use too and is such a nice summery addition to my day-to-day makeup routine.

    Feedback

Super minor but the little pouch that comes with the products is starting to stain since it’s white and holds tanning products. Would maybe recommend a darker pouch color so that if tanning water or brush touch the fabric it doesn’t discolor.
