S&S ice cream is very good, it's creamy and their flavor combos are different then most places I've been. As with a lot of ice cream shops you can taste all of the flavors so if you know your getting something you will enjoy. I have had tried flavors I didn't like but I simply don't order those. For an extra $0.50 you can get a split scoop which allows you 2 flavors with our commiting to 2 full scoops. I love having that option. I've never been here with out waiting in line but it moves pretty quickly and I think it's worth the 10 minute wait.

I've tried the Chocolate Gooey Brownie (favorite!), Honey Lavender, and Freckled Mint Chocolate Chip (vegan option) at my local store. Picked up a couple cartons to share with friends during a potluck - everyone enjoyed!

When I first had Salt and Straw it was in Downtown Disney. Now I am addicted! It is by far the best ice cream I have ever had.

I wasn't inclined to like the ice-cream because of the long lines. But there are long lines for a reason. Sampling is possible with a little mini stainless spoon (not plastic). Great mouth feel and fun flavors. They were out of sugar cones and upgraded me free to waffle cones.

Worth the hype. S&S sells reliably delicious ice cream.... yes it is worth cueing in san francisco in the fog for. Smooth, creamy, interesting flavors. Recommend!

They make a lot of weird flavors that don't really hit for me. Every time a new seasonal flavor comes out, I think how promising the descriptions sound but most of the time it ends up being a bust. But their basics are all solid. Personal favorite is the salted malted chocolate chip cookie dough.

Salt and Straw is delicious and as someone based in LA, I can say that this ice cream shop is popular for good reason. The ingredients are high quality, but that also comes at a cost!

Lots of interesting flavors to try and visitors always love it - I’ve been several times! But, it’s a bit pricey so I’ve been exploring other options.

Salt and Straw is so good—there is a long list core flavors that are always available, and the rotating monthly flavors are reliably creative and delicious. I love that they partner with local businesses and always have vegan and gluten-free options available.

Love the Salt & Straw ice cream. I always taste the seasonal flavors but it's hard to beat their tried and true like Chocolate Gooey Brownie and Salted Caramel.
