Reviews mention

  • Smooth, low-acid coffee profile
  • Creamy, silky oat milk lattes
  • Convenient, portable slim cans
  • Organic, clean ingredient list
  • Small, unsatisfying can size
  • Inconsistent flavor strength
  • Occasional metallic aftertaste
  • Overly sweet select flavors

RISE Brewing Co earns largely positive reviews for smooth, low-acid nitro cold brew and creamy oat milk lattes that many find better than coffee shop options, with convenient cans, organic ingredients, and flavors like Oat Milk Mocha, Vanilla, and Original Black standing out. Reviews also flag weaknesses: small cans, inconsistent flavor strength or sweetness (especially London Fog and some vanilla/caramel SKUs), occasional aftertaste/oat-forward or “metallic” notes, and a desire for sugar-free flavored versions and stronger coffee flavor.

  • It was a nice latte in a can. I thought the flavor was great and wasn't overly sweet. I appreciate l that Rise doesn't have too much sugar added so I really enjoyed this.

  • Of all the canned coffees I’ve tried, this is the only one I might buy again. It had a great creamy flavor and did not taste like fake sugar. I loved that it is nondairy as well.

  • yuck... gross and not worth your money just go buy a latte or something from a coffee shop since they cost the same amount of money

  • We need to talk. I've been avoiding writing this review because I legitimately feel bad about how awful I thought the London Fog flavor tea was. I'm still trying to put my finger on what it tasted like. What I can tell you is that it did not elicit any core memories of what Earl Gray tea has tasted like in my life. I was pretty bummed because I was absolutely looking forward to trying that flavor over all of the others. I definitely think the flavor needs to be reworked. As for the coffees I tried. They are all very oat milk forward with coffee coming in as the afterthought. My favorite... And mind you, I don't order mocha coffees ever... Was the mocha flavored coffee. This one had the most balanced flavor out of all of the ones I tried. The vanilla one was disappointing too. I usually like my coffee to be creamy and flavor forward. I do order oat milk when I get coffees in my day to day life, so I'm familiar with what it tastes like. I imagine that some people are going to feel like I do and some may prefer for their coffee to taste more like the "creamer" they use. If I saw a can in a store cooler, had I not already tried it, I would have been attracted to the packaging and probably would have bought it. I would have been more disappointed than what I feel now. I am good having tried a variety of Rise coffees and don't feel like I need to dip my toe in that oat milk pond again. If the flavors were more balanced, I would be willing to give more circles, stars, etc. But for today, I am going to hard pass and just keep keeping on.

  • Great on the go coffee without overpowering flavors. I find it is one of the better/best options when you can't get fresh brewed coffee and need to grab/go. The size is just right & typically the pricepoint is where I expect it to be compared to some other coffees that feel way overpriced on the shelf.

  • I was really excited to try these, especially as I’m often on the go in the mornings. I enjoyed them, but I felt like they all kind of had an aftertaste—it wasn’t good or bad, just odd. I would totally drink them again, because overall they were yummy and very convenient. I was so excited to try the London Fog one but that was my least favorite—it didn’t have that herbal, cozy taste that I like in a London Fog.

  • Loved the unboxing experience and was super pleasantly surprised by the variety! Sometimes canned coffee can be too sweet or too bitter but I think Rise strikes the balance really well. Love the oat milk options and thought the London Fog one was I interesting but I wish it was stronger tasting. The classic nitro coffees are pretty standard and how you would expect. Would definitely pick one up again!

  • I saw this at WholeFood and wanted to try since the packaging said "Oatmilk Latte with Nitro Cold Brew". I wasn't particularly impressed with the flavor, it was mostly just oatmilk with a slight acidity of the cold brew. I didn't think it was great and for the price I would just get real latte instead.

  • As someone who has a coffee in-hand a majority of the time, RISE cans have saved me many times. I grew up in the coffee scene so am quite picky, but their Black cold brew, oatmilk lattes, and even the mocha (not to sweet!!) were the first and some of the few canned coffees that I like! Still not the same as getting it from my favorite local shop, but in a pinch, if I have to pick a canned coffee up, I am always reaching for these!

  • tastes good... but definitely not a fan of the sunflower oil :( if i'm in a pinch and don't have time to make my iced coffee in the morning, this is better than the other brands because at least it's organic, but it would never be my go-to :(

  • Hate to say it, but I have not enjoyed any product I’ve tried from this brand. Flavors are usually too mild, and the coffee itself isn’t very strong. For the same price, you’re better off going with a different brand or just getting a fresh cup of coffee literally anywhere.

  • I really liked the mocha latte. Nice for taking in the car/grabbing if I don’t have time to stop for a fancy coffee when I’m going somewhere. The vanilla I didn’t like so much but that is personal preference!

  • I think the product is flavorful and tasty. However, there is too much sugar in these drinks for me. I would like to see a no sugar added flavored drink.

  • I enjoy the idea of coffee in cans so I had to try this one too. I found it in wholefoods and enjoyed it.

  • Rise canned coffee is decent... I mean, it gets the job done when you need that caffeine fix, but it's nothing to text home about. The flavors are alright, but for the price, I've had better options that pack a bigger punch.

  • I really enjoy the variety that Rise offers, from full flavored lattes to basic cold brew coffee. They are great on road trips, and when I don't have time to make coffee in the morning.

  • This is by far my favorite canned coffee/latte, that being said, I've only tried the london fog flavor. The flavor is overall really nice and I think it really has a good kick to it if you need a pick me up. Id love to see other tea flavors as you dont really see canned milk teas.
