  • RTR messed up my order. Even though I ordered a dress, backup size and backup dress well in advance, when it cam time to ship, only my backup size was available. The agents solution was “surely we can find another dress” This was unacceptable given it was so close to the event and the dresses that worked were the ones I ordered. I told her to send the backup size and another possible dress. Except she was going to charge full price for the dresses! This is unacceptable. I should have been given a full refund for the whole transaction because I got a dress in a backup size and another that I didn’t want. No refund is a horrible solution given the stress this caused! Her response was that I was still receiving a dress and she couldn’t send a replacement and a refund. That shows total lack of concern and understanding that I was being charged for two dresses, neither of which were what I wanted and I placed the order early to avoid any stress! RTR was a total failure!

  • Clothes that I am receiving seem over washed/work out. Had to return some items again from my last shipment. Paid for an extra spot, and then they didn’t deliver my new garments on the date. They refuse to refund me or do anything about it. So I paid for what?

  • I used RTR for both my Junior and Senior proms in high school. I couldn't be more pleased with the entire process from beginning to end--selecting the piece, tracking shipping, receiving it and the return. Reminiscing with friends and classmates is always funny, I've gotten used to the 'wait, that's actually really smart,' or 'dang, I wish I would've thought of going that route,' type of comments because 1) it's more cost effective and 2) you can eliminate the need for the garment taking up closet space for years post-high school. I can't recommend this fashion service enough!

    Weigh your personal pros and cons! Do you want to spend a ton on a dress, just to take up closet space for years afterwards? Do you care that your garment was worn and will be worn by others (clean servicing aside)? Personally, it was a no-brainer for me!

  • Dont bother applying for a job with this company. They are terribly mismanaged. They recently hired many employees to fill various jobs only to notify them today (9/12) that they would all be laid off. I would expect their stock price to take a nosedive as well, so if you're an investor i would steer clear of this company....BEWARE!

  • For my very first order, they shipped to a wrong address twice, 2 dresses out of 4 were damaged, they never come to pick up return, change the date of pick up without notification, the supervisor insists it's not their fault because they outsource shipping service, you never receive dresses and they never refund you. HORRIBLE. The worst company in the history.

  • I've been renting dresses from RTR for a while, mostly for weddings and other formal events. The majority of the time I've had great experiences and I've gotten many compliments on the dresses I've worn.

    One time I had a dress that definitely wasn't cleaned and had a terrible smell of body odor. I called and they quickly shipped me a replacement though.
