quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

recently got a new quip electric, don’t love the speed settings

I love my quip toothbrush. It's sleek but pretty. The automatic brush head refills are super convenient and better for the environment than to throw away a plastic toothbrush each time it's replaced.

I believe these items are over priced. Although they are pretty and get the job done I don’t think I’d buy again because of the price. But if you like expensive items by all means hehe perfect.

Quip is amazing. They have a smart toothbrush that connects with the app and helps you keep track of your good habits. They also have a refill plan that is really good.

I find the brush head to be too large and the bristles too hard. Both of those things make dental health impossible. I also feel like it doesn't clean very well. The design is very good though.

Not strong enough. Doesn’t feel clean after using. Toothpaste was also gross

I've had my Quip toothbrush for years now and we've even transformed into a fully Quip household! My partner bought me my flosser a few years ago as well and we love them. It's just an electric toothbrush that vibrates, so if you're looking for one with a rotating head then this might not be for you. The packaging they've used over the years has also been upgraded to be sustainable and easier to recycle! We're part of the subscription to get new toothbrush heads and we enjoy the frequency we receive them.

I love their products. I got the worth of my money, I highly recommend this brand for anyone that wants to order from them. They also have a frienfly team.

My first two toothbrushes broke within a year; however, the company helped me replace them (if you have a subscription) and the replacement has worked well. I think the toothbrush might be overhyped but I love the simplicity.

This brand makes something I used to find really daunting a more enjoyable part of my day, the subscription model and the fun easy to use products have overall improved my teeth brushing experience.

Great for my travel pack. They only thing that keeps me from 5 stars is that sometimes it is tricky to turn on/off. Love the packaging b/c I use it keep my toothbrush upright on the counter in hotel bathrooms and covered!

I love everything I have from quip. The toothbrush, mouthwash, floss, and gum. They are all wonderfully designed products that look great on the counter, but also work incredibly well. Also, their customer service is amazing. I had a product spill during shipping and they were quick to respond and replace it.

The toothbrushes look good on the bathroom counter, no question. They brush the teeth well too. The head feels firm and durable. I've had three different tooth brushes from quip after the motors stopped working. The first one quip replaced ... the others I bought myself because it was a hassle to replace the first one. Not sure why they stop working ... but they do, and relatively fast. Originally I thought it was the button on the handle itself, but after swapping the motor with the one in my partners toothbrush the button still worked. I eventually took the motor and batteries out and just use it as a regular, albeit good looking toothbrush. The head exchange program is efficient, but a little pricy. If you want a good looking toothbrush, then these are up there with the best ... just don't expect it to work for very long (based on my experience).

I really love this toothbrush and the app it comes with because it helps me motivate myself to stay brushing. I love the rewards you can get as well. The actual brush has a great vibration pattern with different patterns of buzzes to let you know when each set of 30 seconds is done.

I used two products with Quip - the toothbrush, the refillable floss pick, and the refillable floss string. I wasn't too excited about the toothbrush. Its a beautiful design and good for travel, but I wouldn't recommend it for daily use just. I dont feel like the vibrations really did much for me. On the other hand, I LOVE the their floss lines. I've been using it for years. It just makes so much sense and is environmentally friendly. These products were designed wonderfully and easy to have on the go. I was going to give it a 3 but just bumped it to a 4 thinking about their floss line alone.

The top can be a little tricky to take off when it's time to replace, but other than that I love my quip toothbrush. So easy to store and the subscription makes sure I'm replacing my toothbrush on time

I got one of these for each of my 5 kids. I love that they are easy to handle because they are small and lightweight but still deliver a powerful clean. They also come in fun colors!

Who doesn’t love this toothbrush? It’s just as good as sonicare in my opinion. Love how easy it is to travel with and that it is battery operated.

Great toothbrush when you are looking for an affordable toothbrush. It does what it says when I am using the product

I used Quip for a solid 6 months and just got tired of it? It was a lot to have a subscription for new heads/batteries for the toothbrush, and it made brushing my teeth an unncessarily expensive chore. The quality was a 3/5 for me - it felt between disposable cheap toothbrushes you get at the dentist office and an expensive electric toothbrush. That being said, Quip has come out with a water flosser, flossing tools, and an electronically-connected toothbrush that may be better investments for your oral health.
