Washable Silk Mini Skirt

  • Quince can be hit or miss for me, fit and quality wise. I think they have some great classic staples - cashmere cardigans / sweaters, work pants, silk skirts and tops. Some of their silhouettes are a bit off / not flattering and sometimes the material is not quality enough even for the price. I have had some trouble with some of their more stretch jeans / leather bags. they have a great return policy and easy shipping so makes it a bit easier to test out different items. Their home collection is also great - I love my cotton sheets and duvet covers.

  • As an avid online shopper, I resisted purchasing from Quince for a very long time because I was able to get what I wanted from various brands that I already shopped for. I missed the amazing ThingDrop because I was too slow to jump the gun, so that showed me that there was a high demand for this stuff, so I put an order for a couple of items I've been really interested in - their washable silk, their stretch jeans, and the cotton cashmere dolman sweater. I work from home, so my closet has leaned towards a little too casual and comfortable in recent years but I also realized I needed some updated clothes for school pick up and meeting other parents. I was also ready to upgrade my jeans, as most of them are skinny and no longer on trend. I was very impressed with everything I got - I'll have to see how the washable silk really performs. I loved the stretch jeans and the fact that I don't think I'll even need to alter them on my 5'0 stature. Everything was reasonably priced and well-made from what I can tell from initial wear. I see that they also offer a wide range of home goods and accessories which I'll have to check out later.
