I’ve been using Primally Pure products for a while now and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. One of the biggest reasons I love this brand is that the products are completely compatible with my eczema prone skin and never cause irritation or flare ups. They work incredibly well and leave my skin feeling nourished, balanced, and healthy. The scents are absolutely amazing without being overpowering, and they make my daily routine feel like a little self care ritual. I also really appreciate that the ingredients are natural and thoughtfully sourced, which gives me peace of mind about what I’m putting on my skin. Overall, I’m extremely impressed with the quality and performance and will definitely continue repurchasing.
Let's break each product down:
💚Body Butter: it smells amazinggggg, but doesn't really soak in - it just kinda just sits on top of my skin. I personally don't like this sensation (same reason I don't like body oils) so this just isn't for me. I do adore the scent but I hate feeling tacky and oily.
💚Lip Balm w/ SPF: I dig the Mint flavor, but I did notice weird white flecks (from the spf?) on my lips that needed rubbing in. It makes me wonder a bit how well the sun protection is working. I'm going to further test this on my upcoming beach trip, but right now I'm just side-eyeing this one.
💚Grapefruit Lip Balm: wtf is that taste?!? UGH. I almost wiped this off. It DID honestly truly make my lips feel super moisturized, but at what cost? Even after a handful of tries I just couldn't handle the repulsive taste (I'm guessing its the tallow?).
💚Deodorant: So my husband tested this one (I have an issue with natural deodorants) and here is his report: "Overall I think the deodorant is a solid option, but doesn't necessarily out-perform others I've tried. The coconut oil takes a swipe or so to warm up, but then goes on nicely. And this particular scent is strong, but refreshing." (For comparisons sake: he is currently using Humble brand deo).
FINAL THOUGHTS:💚
I guess it depends. I'm gonna give this brand a maaaaaaaybe. (Neither a HECK YES or a DUDE NOOO): they honestly get a maybeeee grade from me. If you are hugely into beef tallow (I'm not, tbh) then it could be worth giving this brand a shot.
I personally wish they were, idk, more community-oriented as a brand. They don't currently support things like 1% for the Planet, Bcorp, Leaping Bunny, or other partnerships I personally like to support in my shopping (when I can). Obviously not every brand I buy from gives back in these ways, but I do try to vote with my dollar whenever possible. (The owner of the company also leans a little too MAHA for my personal political values, interviewing folks like Paul Saladino).
