PlantPaper earns polarized reviews: many say the bamboo, toxin‑free toilet paper works well—soft enough, very strong, lint‑free, and flushes cleanly—while others find it rough, shedding, and less absorbent than plush 3‑ply, with an off‑putting tan color. Reviews praise elegant, plastic‑free packaging, attractive branding, and a convenient subscription, but note issues like irritation for some users, privacy concerns, and complaints about roll size and perceived value.

I never ever subscribe to a product I haven't tried before. PlantPaper put me in for a subscription and sent another load of their crap. The TP clogs my toilets and the tissues are crunchy instead of soft. I got an email saying they were sending a second load to me, I emailed them immediately and they refused to stop the order and refused to let me return, telling me to donate it to friends for the holidays! What??? talk about poor service. Do not deal with this company!

I've suffered from UTIs for most of my adult life. I was getting them every other month. I made the switch to PlantPaper like 6 months ago and I haven't had ONE UTI in that time. This isn't a coincidence. So there's that. In terms of the product itself, it's really soft and it doesn't leave lint behind. It's a pretty natural tan color because they don't bleach it. You actually feel clean after wiping with this toilet paper. Do yourself a favor and try this product. And then after that go down the rabbit hole of PFAS and toxic chemicals in the conventional brands we've loved for years like Charmin. It's so insane. Never going back! PlantPaper is now a staple in my home and I will recommend it to everyone in my life.

I saw an ad for this toilet paper on Instagram this morning. It seemed intriguing and I contemplated purchasing some to test it out. However, right when I got home and was about to make the purchase, I discovered that Plant Paper had sent a targeted message directly to my personal email without my consent or me having given them any of my personal information. They accomplished this by partnering with a third party surveillance company called SafeOpt that tracks people across the internet and gathers information about them unknowingly, which it then uses to reach them through personal channels. There's currently a class action lawsuit on the basis that it allegedly violates California's wiretapping laws. I'm planning to join that lawsuit and suggest that anyone else affected by this gross violation of privacy and trust do the same.

This is a one and done. Not soft at all. Very expensive. I would not recommend to friends but maybe to a family member that I don't like. Very over exaggerated on how soft it is.....it is not

Soft, strong, does not clog the toilet, recycled. Sounds great but, and this is the crux, something in this stuff is a physical irritant and it cannot be ignored; and it does not get better. The irritation stops immediately with a brand change. Shame. I wasted money on a year’s supply 👎

I don't use paper products, like paper towels, at home. Toilet paper is harder to cut out of my life but Plant Paper's dedication to sustainability makes them an easy choice for my home. Not to mention, they have an automated delivery option which is super convenient for my bi-coastal lifestyle.

Genuinely confused by all the high ratings. Either people have forgotten what good, soft, pleasant toilet paper is – or Plant Paper’s marketing works really well.

PlantPaper feels like the cheap office stuff your company uses to cut costs. Making it softer would be … awesome.
