best new hot sauce discovered this year, love the nod to traditional Indian spices in the name (IYKYK), good balance of flavors (peppers/heat) across the three main sauces... Hara Bhara is now a staple in our household, absolutely must try these if you are at all serious about hot sauces (like I am).

Got the Hara Bhara and I’m all over it! It’s very fresh and pure, and doesn’t have any added “extra” jazziness that other sauces have—yknow how sauces try too hard to be sauces thereby covering up the foods actual flavors, none of that here. Just clean deliciousness. I add it to sandwiches and wherever I need a bit of a kick. So grateful I have this faithful sauce in my life! Even my mom loves it! and she’s a tough critic. Great gift for food lovers! Note: It says mild but personally I’d say it’s medium/high heat! So take your time with it. :-)

If you’re looking for an authentic and fresh taste of home, this is the place! These sauces surpass all those local hot sauce and chutney brands with synthetic flavors that you’ll find in the aisle of your Indian store. My favorite is bhoot bangla, but a little goes a long way - warning for the faint hearted. Hara bara is definitely the most versatile; goes with anything and everything and is a spice level that even non spice lovers can get on board with!

This is a unique set of hot sauce blends because they incorporate Pakistani flavors. Even being a hot sauce enthusiast, this is a different level of flavor profiles than what I've previously tasted. I'm a hot-head so Bhoot Bangla has been my favorite. I appreciate that this company creates sauces in small batches, with no preservatives. I felt like I could taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. I've also gotta give the Peepal team compliments on the packaging. The materials, fonts, colors - all just really well-done.

In their own words
Founders Alyzeh and Ahmer, Pakistani-born Americans grew up consuming spicy condiments with every meal. When they moved to the US they searched far and wide for their flavors in supermarkets but could not find any pepper-forward condiments with South Asian flavors. There they noticed the scary, aggressive visuals and warnings on labels containing peppers and could not relate to this image of heat and spice that they had grown up consuming. Their goal was simple: fill the gap of South Asian flavors in a familiar American form and create a range of condiments that cross cultural borders.
