Ouidad reviews and discussion

My sister is a huge Ouidad fan specifically for her coil curly hair. I don’t have nearly as much curl as she does but I do use all of her products. The Ouidad Curl Shaper is a game-changer for my wavy hair, it actually defines and enhances every curl without weighing my hair down. It leaves my hair feeling soft, bouncy, and full of life. I love how it tames frizz and gives my waves long-lasting shape and moisture. My curls stand out and begin to look healthier, shinier, and more manageable every time I use it. I will continue mooching off my sisters stockpile 😂

I bought the curly leave in conditioner based on a recommendation from a friend. I will say the price is steep for the amount you get. Overall I don’t think it worker wonders for my hair but I will keep using it. The smell and consistency are pleasant.

I wanted to love this bond builder- my hair splits and gets dry due to exposure to the elements and running with a ponytail. I tried this as directed, on damp hair. The texture is thin and promising, but after a day my hair felt greasy. I tried again with less product and had the same result. Maybe my hair is too fine for it? I have thick hair but it's fine and can get weighed down. My hair felt healthy and shiny for the time using it, I just couldn't deal with the look after a day.

Let me start off by saying I have wavy and curly hair, but to me it looks very frizzy. I’m always looking for something that makes my hair less frizzy. I really like Ouidad products. I’ve tried the Whipped curls and the Advanced Climate Control gel. It doesn’t weigh down my hair, which is important to me because my hair is also thin. I like to use the climate control gel, and this summer, it does help with the humidity.

In general, I love experimenting with products so I typically don't stick with anything. But Ouidad I keep coming back to. And that's been for the last 11 years. Ouidad is the only brand I've found that makes products that I can count on to work with my hair. I have really frizzy, very curly hair that's always been difficult to manage and these products make me love my hair. I also swear by their certified stylists. Leagues over DevaCurl. I felt so uncomfortable wearing my hair down until I discovered Ouidad at the age of 22. Products and stylists are gold star in my book.

Ouidad is the base of my haircare routine. I have curly, thick hair and I mainly use the moisture lock leave in conditioner and the advanced humidity control gel. I have tried a few other products which I found to be to fragranced for my liking. I would like to see this brand go with less fragrance overall as I think it really works well on curls, but I am very scent sensitive.

There are a bunch of different lines within Ouidad for different curl types. It can get a little overwhelming, but I really enjoy their claryfing shampoo!
