I used to just love this product and bought it for years. However the last several months every time I buy it it's just super wet and then it gets slimy within days of opening it. I'm done with this product just going to have to find something new which is too bad
Organic Girl is my favorite packaged lettuce. Never bitter and always fresh! I subscribe to their email and they send me monthly coupons, which I truly appreciate. Locally, I found it at Harris Teeter.

Look—for the most part, so long as it's fresh, lettuce is lettuce (acknowledging that different varieties have unique tastes, but hopefully you know what I mean here). And this is just fine lettuce (my wife and I especially like the baby spring mix, though all the packages we have tried are good). What led me to write about this particular product is a previous review that exclaimed, seemingly breathlessly, that these are "Tasty fresh greens that come PREWASHED!!" Um ... for the past couple of decades most packaged lettuce/greens I've purchased come prewashed, so not sure if that's anything worth mentioning, especially as the lead-off sentence in a review. That having been said, Organic Girl products are absolutely fine. Not amazing and not horrible. It's lettuce and/or greens, people: If it's fresh, it's likely gonna be tasty.
I think the branding and packaging on this is super fun. I got the butter lettuce and thought it tasted really good. I like knowing that it has already been washed and cleaned. I wish it wasn’t so expensive though.
