Onya’e Naturals (pronounced [on] [yay]) was born out of a love of non-toxic ingredients in both skincare products and home decor. I made skincare for a few years after launching the brand, but more recently have pivoted to exclusively creating beautiful decor candles and handmade home décor items out of cement. While sitting at home in the beginning of the global pandemic, I started reflecting on all the things that truly bring me peace and tranquility. I realized that while I love skincare, making those products created more stress than calm in my life. My hope is that the decor candles I make bring the same feelings of peace to your home that I have while making them. Their purpose is to enhance your life at home, without having to worry about toxic ingredients harming you or your family. Each of my candles are beautifully unique. I like to think that’s a reflection of who I am as well. I believe there is beauty in the nuances of simple pleasures, like taking a walk just to see the trees, or trying out a new recipe. I don’t strive for perfection, I seek authenticity and connection. As a one woman team, (who also has a full time job!) Onya’e Naturals is a business that I actually look at as more of a hobby. For this reason, I can’t fill custom orders at this time.
