  • Smooth, neutral oat flavor
  • Versatile, beverage performance
  • Additive-heavy ingredient list
  • Seed oil, rapeseed inclusion
  • Occasional digestive discomfort
  • Sometimes overly sweet taste

Oatly impresses in reviews for café-worthy performance—its Barista Edition froths reliably and delivers a creamy, smooth texture that elevates coffee, matcha, and lattes—while dividing opinion over formulation. Fans praise the rich mouthfeel, neutral-to-oaty flavor, and versatility across baking, cereal, and smoothies; critics cite seed/rapeseed oils, gums/additives, sweetness, and occasional digestive upset as drawbacks. Overall, Oatly is considered a top-tasting, highly consistent oat milk for beverages, but less appealing to buyers prioritizing ultra‑clean ingredients.

  • As a barista, I have tried many different alt milk combinations. This brand makes oat milk that has a really good consistency. The oat milk is pretty thick and not watery at all.

    Feedback

Perhaps the oat milk could be offered in larger packaging.

  • Oatly is such a fun brand with a zany energy. It’s so delicious added to coffee or in cereal. I also use it in place of coconut milk in curries or creamy sauces.

  • My fave Oat milk brand! I personally looooooove Oatly drinks. They are the most similar taste and consistency to milk, and taste even better than normal milk. Price point - i think it's very competitive, with most supermarkets doing offers on the drink making it more accessible to those on lower incomes and in tougher circumstances. The range is super extensive, and no matter what your preference you will definitely find a drink to suit your taste buds. My fave? Deffo the Barista Edition Oat Drink 🥛🌱

  • love this brand. the oat milk tastes amazing!! flavor is far better and more oat-y than other brands

    Feedback

less filler and bad ingredients =(

  • I drink oat milk in my coffee nearly everyday and I particularly love Oatly. In my opinion, Oatly had the best flavor and texture compared to many other oat milks I have tried. If I have the opportunity to choose, I would always choose Oatly.

I do find oat milk in general to be relatively expensive and would love if I could see Oatlys prices drop a bit.

  • So sweet, creamy, and flavorful! This is my favorite oat milk brand.

If you're looking for a low calorie milk alternative, this is not it.

  • I'm honestly not a huge fan of oat milk as I've been blessed with the genes to properly digest lactose. However out of the oat milks I've tried, this is one of the more appetizing ones. Obviously not a 1:1 replacement for cow milk, but I liked the texture, consistency, and aftertaste.

    Nothing :)

  • Not a fan of the unnecessary ingredients like oil. Will make my own.

    Better ingredients

  • I like Oatly because unlike almond milk or other nut milks, it doesn't have a strange aftertaste. Oatly tastes very pure and allows the flavor of my coffee to come through loud and clear. Also, it's more environmentally friendly than nut milks that take a lot of water to produce.

    It's all good

  • In terms of grocery store oat milk, this is the best I've found for lattes. I also use it in baking and in cereal! It can be a little expensive but I think it's worth it.

    Seasonal flavors would be fun!

  • Actually very creamy and froths very well!

    Feedback

    A little overpriced

  • delicious product. one of the best oat milks on the market!

    Feedback

sometimes hard to find in stores/ in stock

  • Really good milk alternative overall. The barista edition foams significantly getter than most other oat milks that I've tried.

    Feedback

It is rather expensive. Reducing the cost by $1 would increase my likelihood of repurchasing.

  • Love the flavor but dont love the ingredients and how its been recalled. There are better oat milk brands

    Feedback

    Better ingredients

  • Tastes good, but I really strongly dislike that they use seed oil :-(

    Feedback

Simple is better — oats, water, salt, and some sort of plant emulsifier should really be all that's required.

  • I've tried tons of oat milk brands, and I think that the Oatly Barista version froths up the best. It's got a really creamy texture and tastes pretty good.

  • I LOVE oatly: the quality, packaging, and impact all feel great.

    Feedback

I’d love to see single-serve concentrate pods (just add water & blend).

  • Oatly is still the only oat milk I don't find gross. I'm normally more of an almond milk person, but will buy oatly when I see it. The full fat is the best imo, as a former whole milk drinker.
