Oatly impresses in reviews for café-worthy performance—its Barista Edition froths reliably and delivers a creamy, smooth texture that elevates coffee, matcha, and lattes—while dividing opinion over formulation. Fans praise the rich mouthfeel, neutral-to-oaty flavor, and versatility across baking, cereal, and smoothies; critics cite seed/rapeseed oils, gums/additives, sweetness, and occasional digestive upset as drawbacks. Overall, Oatly is considered a top-tasting, highly consistent oat milk for beverages, but less appealing to buyers prioritizing ultra‑clean ingredients.

I’ve tried a lot of oat milks, especially barista blends and this one froths up incredibly well while being great tasting. A little on the expensive side but knowing how much more enjoyable it makes my homemade coffee, I always splurge.

The Oatly Barista Edition is delicious for any homemade latte; however, the price point is steep. It would be best to buy each of their Original and Full Fat Oatmilk cartons and then mix 50/50. If you want to buy just one, the Oatly Oatmilk Full Fat is best for a strong espresso latte. The Oatly Basic Oatmilk is great for matcha lattes to not diminish the matcha flavor!

Oatly is the only milk that I buy! The barista edition especially is my absolute favourite and is a constant edition to my weekly grocery shop. The chocolate Oatly is another favourite of mine, before I tried Oatly I was reluctant to obide by my bodies need for removing dairy from my diet, but since I found Oatly I havent looked back!

Just my fav milk ever. I switched to plant-based milk a few years ago and this one is the best I have ever tasted. It has a rich texture and the taste is a tiny touch sweet. I've been drinking it for years! Much better than Califia Barista milk, which never foamed in my Keurig frother btw.. It's the only one that gives me that coffee shop grade milk foam!

I actually love this product, this an oat milk drink but has a similar taste like the cow’s milk which is actually a great option for those who are lactose intolerant. It is a rich source of vitamin D, which supports normal calcium absorption and bone health, and they're fortified with iodine, riboflavin and vitamin B12 too which is great.

Big fan of Oatly for years. They have quite the range of oat milk depending on what you’re looking for. I enjoy my morning lattes with their full fat oat milk, it makes a nice rich texture with no dairy.

I buy oatly at my local grocery store and at whole foods

Oatly is the best - cream-like in coffee, not oily, not too sweet.

This is my favorite oat milk. It’s creamy and froths well and there’s very little ‘oaty’ taste.

I wish it were easier to find. The markets I frequent are almost always out of it.

OATLY is honestly my favourite oat drink or even alternative milk brand on the market, I’m fully obsessed it’s so creamy any delicious, I cannot recommend this enough! It’s great in literally everything I have no complaints what so ever! I have tried every kind and especially love the flavoued milks they are so amazing!

After only drinking almond milk for years, I decided to give Oatly milk a try. After purchasing The Original Oatly, I will never go back to almond milk! I love that Oatly is vegan and dairy free. I love frothing it with vanilla bean powder and topping my coffee with it and my children love it with their morning cereal! It’s so smooth and creamy that it is delicious to drink on its own and you know it’s healthy so there are no guilty feeling afterwards. Another thing I love about Oatly is their mission of delivering healthy and sustainable products. Adult and kid approved!!!

I would love if Oatly could come in a larger size than offered. Other than that, great product!!

It’s honestly the only milk I want to drink now. Trader Joe’s doesn’t carry it so I keep trying other kinds of milk but the taste and texture of oatly is just the best! My barista friend is still able to do latte art with it too.

It is a little pricey but worth it for me.

Love oatly! I used to be a cow milk drinker and simply switched over to oat because it lasted longer in my fridge. I could never use all the milk before it went bad. I have tried a few different versions of oatly and much prefer the barista brand for my coffees. I genuinely feel I never need to buy coffee anymore as I can make it just as good as my favorite coffee shop. I also really like the chocolate oat milk as a sweet treat.

I’m not sure if this is a me error, but it seems the caps often don’t fit on very well. I think it may be because they are made of a thinner plastic (probably for enviro purposes), but it often results in me spraying oat milk all over my kitchen when I go to shake it up before used.

At first glance this product may look like a hipster delight for a premium price, but it's much more approachable than that! The flavor is full-bodied and velvety smooth. It incorporates well with both hot and cold beverages. If you want the genuine taste of a shaken brown sugar oatmilk espresso (such as from a moderately priced coffee chain), this is the oatmilk for you!
Feedback
Understandably, the price can be a bit of a turn off. If the product came in larger sizes, it would be much a much better value monetarily. As it currently stands, it can be a bit difficult to find, especially in small towns. Broadening the range of retailers would be perfect!

I love oatmilk. I love it in my coffee, in my cereal, in everything and by itself. I’ve tried oatly multiple times, and it’s not bad. Is not my favorite oat milk because of the amount of oil compared to some other brands. But I can find this brand at my local grocery store versus my favorite brand that I have to order online. Otherwise I have noticed oatly tends to separate in my coffee a little, not the worst thing in the world but not appealing to look at sometimes. Taste 4/5. Ingredients 3/5. Ease of access 5/5. Overall, 4/5 🤷🏻♀️
Feedback
The oil content is too high for my liking and I think that’s why it separates when mixed into a drink.

I love it. CBD boxes are the best way to attract the customers to your Cannabidiol products. DnPackaging offer high-quality custom CBD boxes at discounted rates to the retailers and wholesalers. https://www.dnpackaging.com/cbd-boxes/

I am not lactose intolerant, but always would like to mix and match oat milk and whole milk in my coffee, just to have a different taste of coffee. Oatly is handsdown the best oat milk out there, especially makes a perfect coffee combo.

The pricing could be more amicable.

I think milk that doesn’t come from mammals is weird, but if you gotta do it, this stuff is the juice.

As an aspiring latte artist, I found the frothing to a foam satisfactory but it was difficult to create the “wet paint” consistency I was told by people on YouTube is required to have an earthly hope of creating anything loosely resembling a heart or tree or anything other than a oat-y snowman shape. Good news is, nobody cares about coffee aesthetic and my wife absolutely loves it as a beverage, so it keeps her tummy happy and simulates the day-launching bliss of a normal ass latte.

I love oat milk. I mean it's a better and creamier alternative to the already established almond milk/nut milk category. I recently had experience to try Oatly in a frosty made by a San Diego vegan cookie brand called Maya's Cookies. Love the taste and want to get more
Feedback
So far nothing. I mean it's readily available at most supermarkets. Would be interesting to see a smaller box like on-the-go package but that might be in testing and available?

It froths perfectly! I only use this in my coffees. It’s beautiful and tastes so yummy!

Drink it everyday with my coffee. Also use it for overnight oats! Shake well my friends, shake well!
