I was excited to try this product after receiving the emails when it launched. I love blue tansy as an ingredient, already love Oak's Luminous Body Lotion (with blue tansy), so I had high hopes for the mask. I like the way the formula glides onto the skin; the texture is like a thick moisturizer. However, I don't notice much difference after I use it. Maybe my pores are a bit less noticeable but for the price, it's not a product I'll repurchase.

The smell and packaging will hook you right away! The frosted glass bottle is so beautiful I keep it out on my vanity. I use this lotion nightly (we lose a lot of moisture at night), particularly concentrating on my knees where I have seen some dryness/crepey skin. This lotion leaves my skin soft and supple. And did I mention the smell?! Blue tansy is one of my favorite scents and it's strong without being overpowering. I love this stuff.

Expensive for what it is. Also the pump (maybe it’s just mine?) doesn’t work very well. Pros: smells nice and is decently moisturizing Cons: expensive and not the best moisturizer I’ve ever used. I prefer Osea.

The Oak Essentials Restorative Mask leaves my face feeling plump and hydrated- it’s like a mini skin miracle. I keep it in my shower, so it’s always easy to grab when I’m ready to use it. The scent is heavenly, like honey, and the mask is a light amber. A lot of masks tend to cause breakouts for me, but this one actually seems to stop them in their tracks. Not only does it hydrate but it also calms and heals my skin. When I wake up the day after I use it, I’m always amazed at how much it improved my complexion. The only challenge is waiting the full 15 minutes but it’s only 1.5 all too wells. I had wanted to try the Oak Essentials Luminous Body Lotion for a while, and I finally bought some at the end of December. The lotion is a gorgeous light blue, and the scent is soft and calming. It absorbs quickly into the skin without being greasy, leaving my skin feel nourished and hydrated. It’s become a lovely part of my daily routine, and the luxurious scent makes every application feel like a mini escape.

I have been with Oak Essentials since the beginning and some of their products are quite good (moisture rich balm, body cream, body scrub), but over the years they have lost their integrity and become impossible to deal with. They no longer seem to value or listen to the customer. When I attempt communication and/or problem resolution, I get snarky replies from their so-called customer service folks. Enough is enough. I don't do business with companies that lack integrity. After filing a complaint with my credit card company, I am dumping any backstock I have at home online and starting with a new skincare company that values its customers. Fortunately, there are lots of those out there who have good products and stellar customer service (Jones Road Beauty, Herbivore Botanicals, Joanna Czech). Take your pick, that's just a start. :)
