Reviews mention

  • Refined, natural-leaning fragrances
  • Gentle, sensitive-skin formulas
  • Smooth, comfortable application
  • Attractive, sustainable packaging
  • Inconsistent odor protection longevity
  • White residue and shirt staining
  • Occasional gritty, sticky texture
  • Body wash sometimes feels drying

Native earns praise for clean ingredients, standout scents (Coconut & Vanilla, Cucumber & Mint, Lilac & White Tea, Citrus & Herbal Musk) and comfortable, non-irritating wear for many, but reviews say performance is inconsistent: the deodorant often fades by midday, struggles in heat/workouts, can leave white residue or shirt stains, and some experience rashes or gritty texture. Reviews of body wash and hair care skew positive for gentle lather and pleasant aromas, though a few find body wash drying and shampoos underwhelming. Overall, Native is a good natural option if you don’t sweat heavily and will reapply; heavy sweaters may need stronger protection.

  • I really wanted to like this product but didn’t. I had a good smell and smooth texture which can be difficult to find with natural deodorant.

    Feedback

I broke out in a rash each time I tried it. I thought it was from switching to a natural deodorant so I stopped for a few months. When I tried the second time (with a new scent) I broke out in the same rash.

  • The deodorant gave me a painful red rash. Aluminum is better.

    Feedback

Put less irritating ingredients and maybe people will buy your stuff.

  • I wanted to love this but it just could not hold up during the summer time. Even with frequent reapply, it was not a match for me. It also left stain on my shirts, which I ended up having to strip to remove

If you can find a way to block odor and make a less greasy formula it would be great

  • personally I really enjoy this deodorant brand. They are a true deodorant not an anti-perspirant which can turn some people off. I personally really like the feeling of the product on my skin and how it does not stain my clothes or stick to my clothes.

    Feedback

The bottom turn knob is not very smooth and not very sturdy so when I am applying the deodorant it can sometimes get pushed back down into the product container

  • I love the smell of this deodorant but unfortunately for me it doesn’t work as well as other brands.

    Feedback

    Not worth the money.

  • I have use their products to keep myself feeling and smelling clean! Love the packaging and the variety of scents!

    Feedback

    Longer lasting

  • I feel like this deodorant doesn't preform as well as others. I love how it smells but not really how it feels. I'd love to try their bodywashes

    Feedback

    The consistency. It's too thick

  • Scents are kind of muted but pleasant. No real pro or con, the product was OK.

    Feedback

    No complaints.

  • I absolutely love the scent of these products but unfortunately, the deodorant leaves me smelling worse than if I hadn't worn any at all.

  • Finding a natural deodorant can be really hard, but one brand that I really like is Native! I have found that some scents are better than ever, the stronger you go, the more likely it'll work. The texture is good, too.

    Feedback

It is a bit expensive for only being slightly better than competitors. Some scents aren't strong enough.

  • Loved the unique scents, it is what intrigued me to try in tandem with the ingredients used.

I do like the sustainability of cardboard packaging but do not like the way it uses. Thinking out loud here but I wonder if you could sell refills for a premium plastic or metal deodorant container instead. If the idea is to make less waste or compostable packaging I could use the same applicator again and again.

  • Native absolutely did not work me. Not only did I stink, I had a rash. I was hoping for this one to work well with my skin, but it did not.

  • I used it once and wasn't a fan, but have heard good things from other people. It wasn't very effective for me, and I got a little rash in my armpit from it. I did love the packaging and the smells!

    More effective?

  • I had great initial impressions of Native. Sleek packaging, great scents, and a deodorant that rolled on nicely. I did, however, enjoy the product less as it aged. Over time, it dried out and became less comfortable to apply. The lid also started to remove bits of the deodorant and the stick changed shape, leaving little deodorant crumbles on the counter. I have not tried Native since they moved to paper packaging, and maybe this has solved some of the issues. If you are going to try it, I would recommend order a single unit to see if you have the same experience!

The product dries out over time and becomes less comfortable to apply. As big brands have released their own "natural" deodorants (e.g. Tom's) that are more comfortable to apply, I wont if Native could improve the formulation. The lid constantly cutting off some of the deodorant did become messy, and this should be improved (note: this may have been improved during the launch of paper packaging).

  • I realy like native! Its a natural deodorant that actually feels like its working. It also doesn’t tend to leave the white residue and holds its shape fairly well.

  • didn't really like the smell & wasn't for me

    Feedback

nothing. maybe it just wasnt for me.

  • I am not a big fan of their deodorant. It is not really effective especially when you sweat.

  • I tried the coconut one and found it efficient and pleasant to wear. Liked the travel-size one.
