Muji earns strong reviews as a minimalist one‑stop shop that works well for stationery, storage, and home basics—its 0.36–0.5 gel pens, notebooks, diffusers, and modular organizers draw consistent praise for smooth performance, thoughtful design, and longevity. Reviews also flag drawbacks: clothing can fit boxy or feel mid‑quality, some items (especially certain home goods) feel overpriced, pens may smudge or skip, and online selection/UX lags, making in‑store experiences distinctly better.

Muji is a vibe. From stationary to bath robes they have it all. I just love their minimal and functional design. Perfect for gifts too.
Love the variety of simple products Muji offers. I mostly purchase organizational items and stationary from them. They create the only notebooks I use consistently.

I recently got given the Sea salt and Sage candle as a gift from a friend. I have never heard of this brand but really impressed with the candle.

Muji is the BEST! Easy to navigate the store, very well-made products for all home organizing needs. I also particularly love their pens and always need to stock up for more. The world needs more Muji!

More stores!
I love Muji! I find they offer such a wide range of products without breaking the bank. From stationary to organizational products, to clothing. With all the bright fancy brand names and labels on products, Muji reduces the visual clutter. Their pens are among my favorite products, and I will always buy more when I run out.

I highly recommend shopping in person if you have the ability to. The atmosphere of the stores is calming, and it's more of an experience than simply a shopping trip.
The quintessential store with everything you can think of along with things that may have never crossed your mind. There is a perfect blend of price, function, utility, and quality that keeps me dropping by consistently. Some stores even have their own food stalls!

Furniture could be more affordable overall.
I love visiting muji shops. I always try and buy something little so that I can feel surrounded by a little delicate and beautif designed Muji cloud. Especially love their home scents and stationery.

Could do with a lift in the Birmingham store. Wish there were more outlets.
Love the combination of functionality and design that MUJI brings. Some things are priced a little higher but I've found their products last a long time and because their design is so simple, it doesn't go out of style. My favs are: the duvet cover, the wooden broom handle with replaceable brush and alternate tool (mop/duster) options, so many of their organizing bins

Best pens and notebooks, really great t-shirts. The stores are beautiful and everything is high quality
I've been shopping at Muji for almost a decade, ever since borrowing a classmate's pen and falling in love with it (both function and style). They're the only pens I buy, and now that they have click vs. cap ones I'll never look anywhere else. Their notebooks and planners are affordable and good quality, as are their travel/toiletry accessories. I even have their diffuser and love it!
I love organizing, and Muji has the perfect boxes and systems to do just that. I have a few of their plexiglass drawers, plastic boxes and some note pads and pens. I love the packaging, simple but identifiable. They have so much more than just storage stuff too.

I have some items for years now and they still look brand new. It's a bit pricey, but worth the investment. They're beautiful in their simplicity, but also practical too. We unfortunately don't have a Muji in Belgium, so everything I've bought was bought when I was on holiday (meaning I used up luggage space the bring back those boxes).
Love the minimalists designs muji has. I really love their stationary and cookware they sell at an affordable price.
Muji pens are my absolute favorite! I also have a few of their organizational products and like how they help keep me and my space clean and organized.
I generally love Muji, they have so many different essentials there from pencil cases to room organizer. Items are pretty affordable and very cute (minimalistic looking)

love muji - especially home goods, stationary, pens, and storage options
Muji products are incredible. The attention to detail, visual design and simplicity of all their products is second to none. There are moments when they feel a bit pricier, but it's always worth that extra bit of money for a high quality product. My favourite things I've bought from them include their drawers and face wash towels.

Only thing might be the clarity of prices throughout the store. Often you have to read a list of all the items, and figure out which one you're interested in. But this is such a small detail.
A solid go-to for a lot of things! All my notebooks and pens come from here - love the .5 black pen and the graph paper notebooks. Always have a few handy! I also love the socks! 3 for 12 is hard to beat! A majority of my work socks come from Muji - they're low-key enough to be worn with a lot of outfits, but many of them have a slightly off-beat color or design that make them just fun enough for work! They are high quality and have a unique right angle shape, which makes them really comfortable, especially when worn with boots or less casual shoes. I also like their household organizational items, although I find them a bit on the pricier side for what they are.
Adore Muji. From their travel staples to home goods to clothes to snacks, their products are a joy to own and use.
Their .38 mm pens are my go to pens. If you have chicken scratch handwriting like myself try out one of these pens and you'll be shocked by how much nicer your handwriting looks.
