Muji wins strong reviews for minimalist, well‑made essentials that generally perform—from beloved 0.38–0.5 gel pens and high‑quality notebooks to durable organizers, travel containers, diffusers, and select apparel—yet the brand draws criticism for inconsistent clothing quality/fit, occasional product misses (cleaning tools, some suitcases), and prices that feel high for basics. Reviews also praise the serene in‑store experience and timeless design while noting limited color variety and that certain items smudge or skip, so discerning shoppers should target stationery, storage, travel accessories, and home goods over more variable categories.

MUJI's A5 wirebound notebook provides a versatile space for everyday thoughts. The simple design lends itself to various uses, from note-taking and journaling to sketching and planning. Its spiral binding allows the notebook to lay flat, offering a comfortable writing experience. The compact A5 size makes it easy to carry in a bag or backpack, ensuring it's always ready when inspiration strikes. It is an excellent companion for students, professionals, and anyone who appreciates the beauty of simplicity.

A5 Wirebound Notebook

Classic notebook that’s perfect for everything. I love that it’s neutral and the paper is such high quality. I use it for work notes and have gifted notebooks too. Pen ink doesn’t bleed through or leave marks on other pages.
